1. Eden accepts Cash’s proposal
Eden reels from Cash’s spontaneous proposal. She points out that, not long ago, he was terrified at the prospect of marrying her. Eden’s friends push her to think carefully about her answer.
The news brings Felicity to Cash’s side for the first time since their conflict over Rory. Felicity helps Cash realise that, while he was thinking more about what he wants than Eden’s wishes, he truly meant the proposal.
Later, Felicity appears just as Eden emerges from behind the bins, having hidden outside Cash’s house. Felicity urges Eden to be honest with Cash, but Eden worries that he will end things if she can’t give him what he wants.
Cash invites Eden to meet him at the beach, and she works up the courage to see him. He explains he doesn’t want to force the idea of marriage – he simply wants to spend forever with her, whatever that looks like. With that, Eden realises that she does want to marry Cash – her answer is yes.

2. Mackenzie confronts Mali
Mac grills Mali about his involvement with the River Boys and the police raid.
Mali tells Mac that, after going home and receiving a strict talking to, he knows exactly where he went wrong.
Mali acknowledges that he made a bad decision, and he won’t let it happen again.
3. Tane gets through to Perri

After a birthday dinner, Perri apologises to Tane for causing a fuss at the hāngī, offering a shy hug. Tane tries to bond with Perri over martial arts and their shared culture, but Mac’s offer of a birthday beer is more appealing.
Mac reminds Perri that Tane’s heart is in the right place, but Perri remains put off by Tane’s bonding activities.
Mali finds Perri at the bus stop, on his way out of the Bay. After a brief chat, Mali tells Tane to get home, where Tane confronts Perri for trying to leave. Tane adds that he won’t always get things right, but he’ll do whatever he can to help.
Tane tries to help with Perri’s reading, but Perri is scarred after years of being called stupid by his father and is hurt that Tane told Harper this.
Tane insists Perri hasn’t said a single stupid thing in the time they’ve known each other. Perri reluctantly agrees to an assessment of his reading.
4. Dana accidentally spreads Harper’s secret

Harper is overwhelmed by the decisions that come with pregnancy ahead of her first scan. Dana nudges her to tell Tane, but Harper makes excuses.
Harper checks Dana hasn’t told anyone, so guilty Dana lies that no-one knows, even though Xander does.
Dana covers to Tane that a distant Harper is unwell, encouraging Tane to stay away. Tane checks on Harper anyway. Harper thinks Dana has let the cat out of the bag, until she realises Tane thinks she has a virus as he asks Harper’s advice over Perri’s reading struggles.
Harper soon learns Dana lied – Xander knows of her pregnancy, but only after overhearing them talking.
Dana tells Xander to keep quiet, but Rose is in the next room and has heard everything. Dana now has to keep Harper’s news contained, but thrilled Rose is eager to know who the father is.
5. Irene suffers a fall

Irene sneaks a flask into her bag before going to work. Hearing her friends talking behind her back, Irene’s hurt only accelerates her day-drinking as she hides in the store room.
After three wrong orders, Leah confronts Irene, who gets upset and storms out. She asks Harper and Dana to clear out of the house, pouring herself another drink to dull the pain.
In her drunken state, Irene has a terrible fall on the stairs. Oblivious to this, Leah and Marilyn express their concerns, but are reminded by Justin that Irene won’t accept help until she’s ready.
John asks Bree if there’s a way to treat a patient who doesn’t want to be helped, and she explains that the most resistant patients are usually the most frightened.
Meanwhile, Harper finds Irene barely conscious with a head wound and possible concussion, so takes her to the hospital.
6. Levi offers Eden an olive branch

Newly engaged Cash and Eden are bombarded by everyone’s congratulations, but love the attention as it makes things feel official.
Felicity tells the Salt team she’s throwing the couple a surprise engagement party. Cash heads off to buy a ring, while Felicity drags Eden off to talk dresses as a distraction.
Learning Eden and Cash won’t be telling Levi themselves, Mac relays the news. He’s happy for them, but a call with his mum reveals only he and their dad weren’t told.
Mac urges Levi to stop pretending he’s not hurt, but he dismisses her. Felicity and Eden later run into Levi, which kills the wedding buzz.
Caught trying to leave a bottle of champagne, Levi awkwardly congratulates his sister and drives off. The expensive olive branch gift sits untouched as Eden admits that champagne can’t make up for what Levi has done.
7. Irene finally accepts help

Bree treats Irene’s head wound and puts the pieces together from her conversation with John. Irene’s friends check on her, but she’s in a vile mood and orders Leah away.
Bree asks Leah for any information on Irene that could help from a medical perspective. Leah says Irene is a recovering alcoholic, and Leah is terrified that she’s relapsing.
Irene refuses help, but Bree gently persuades her to stay in the hospital overnight. Irene tries to sneak a drink from the flask in her bag, but is caught red-handed by Bree.
Marilyn visits Irene, and this time she’s fragile and sober as she apologises for her behaviour. John arrives, and he and Irene reconcile after their big row. John wishes he had done more, while Irene admits she has been lying to everyone including herself.
Irene asks John to take her to rehab, but first they visit Leah at the Diner so Irene can apologise. Her words are sincere, and the pair are friends once more. Irene wants to leave now before she chickens out. John asks if she’s okay, and Irene declares that she will be.
8. Cash and Eden celebrate their engagement

Cash and Eden prepare for a free, romantic dinner at Salt, courtesy of Felicity.
Cash gives Eden a stunning engagement ring, and despite her lack of interest in traditional wedding things, Eden is filled with joy.
Remi arrives under strict instructions to take the couple to their dinner – but little do they know, that’s not the real plan.
Felicity presents Cash and Eden with blindfolds and they are led down to the beach, where all their friends have gathered for the surprise party.
9. Newcomer Abigail flees the Bay

Levi and Eden’s sister Abigail arrives in town. Abigail is disappointed that Levi isn’t attending the engagement bash and tries to change his mind. Mac warns Levi that going would only add fuel to the fire, but Abigail convinces her big brother to drive her to the party, rather than let her hitch a ride with a stranger.
When they arrive, Cash prepares to send Levi away. However, Eden is so thrilled to see her little sister that she asks a surprised Levi and Mac to stay for a drink.
Levi finds his sisters catching up at Salt, and Levi mentions that Abigail hitched a ride to Summer Bay. The siblings grow tense over their lost time, but as Levi tells Abigail it’s time to leave, she gets a suspicious text.
Learning Levi doesn’t have a spare bed for the night, Abigail asks him to drop her off at the nearest bus stop, and steals his wallet on her way out. When Levi goes after Abigail, he realises that she has gone, along with his wallet.
10. Felicity collapses after a dance with Tane

With the party in full swing, a concerned Dana watches Tane and Felicity enjoy a cosy slow dance. She realises how complicated pregnant Harper’s situation is becoming. Dana asks Xander if the pair might get back together, and he thinks Tane and Felicity never stopped loving each other.
Felicity tells Cash they both deserve to be happy – maybe they’re not cursed after all. Felicity is filled with hope for the future as she watches her brother slow dance with his fiancée.
However, then Felicity’s vision blurs. With a sudden, sharp pain in her head, she hits the floor.
