Home and Away’s Ziggy and Justin go head-to-head while Roo grapples with losing her mother

Home and Away star Dan Ewing reveals he’s expecting his first child

”It’s frustrating for Ziggy.”

How do you separate your personal and professional lives when they’re working under the same roof?

In this week’s episode of Home And Away, Justin (James Stewart) may pay the price for giving Theo (Matt Evans) a job at the garage when Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) decides enough is enough.

In the aftermath of his dangerous graveyard stunt with Ryder (Lukas Radovich) and theft of the surf club’s Polaris, Justin continues to father Theo.

But the wayward teen continues to cause issues on the job. Lazy, reckless and full of attitude, Theo has been more of a chore than a help.

Now, it’s about to get worse.

Justin (Ada Nicodemou) receives a phone call from Leah (Ada Nicodemou), who claims to have been visiting family overseas.

In reality, she’s living in the city with Theo’s parents in the hopes of mending the father-son schism.
However, Theo overhears the talk and becomes enraged. She couldn’t possibly betray him.

The teen, who recently confessed his father’s abusive past to John (Shane Withington), fears the worst and begs Leah to come home. Yet, he fails to say why.

The next day, Theo’s frustration brings chaos to the garage when he abandons work and snaps at an unsuspecting Ziggy.

Instead of reprimanding him for his bad behavior, Justin intervenes and offers him an apprenticeship. Ziggy is furious.

“It’s difficult for Ziggy,” Matt tells TV WEEK, “since he gets the opportunity so effortlessly.” “He messed with Justin and Ziggy a lot and wasn’t really deserving of it.”

Despite her protests, Justin is adamant about his plan. He states flatly, “It’s my business.”

Ziggy, never one to back down, compiles a stack of résumés from female applicants, despite the fact that Theo isn’t quite as competent. They put everything on the line for their ideals, including their friendship, in a furious debate.

Roo grapples with losing her mother

Their relationship is strained, but one phone call might change the lives of Roo and her mother Martha forever.

This week, Roo (Georgie Parker) asks Dr Logan (Harley Bonner) to check in with her mother’s medical team in Merimbula.

Martha (Belinda Giblin) moved back there after refusing to accept Roo’s liver transplant, causing tension in the family.

To her surprise, Logan reveals time isn’t on their side. Martha’s condition has deteriorated markedly. Roo is stunned. How could her dad Alf (Ray Meagher) have kept this from her?

When questioned, Alf confesses that he is afraid of losing his wife, and that telling Roo would only confirm his fears. Roo wallows in her loss afterwards, but she can’t seem to let go of her rage.
