After actors Sam Frost and Harley Bonner left the show some months ago, Home and Away is likely to lose two popular characters.
However, it appears that some newcomers to Summer Bay are on the way.
On Monday, March 28, up-and-coming actress Juliet Godwin was spotted filming surfing sequences on location in Palm Beach, Sydney.
While Juliet’s identity is unknown, Daily Mail Australia understands she will portray a doctor at Northern Districts Hospital.
Juliet’s first significant TV role likely to be in Home and Away, after her role as Cara in the ABC drama series The Heights in 2020.
Channel Seven has been approached by the Daily Mail Australia for comment.
Juliet wore a floral wetsuit for her surfing montage before switching to a white T-shirt and denim shorts for another scene where she spoke with a cop.
Following the departure of Sam Frost, who played nurse Jasmine Delaney, Home and Away has been undergoing significant changes.
Sam’s departure in December occurred less than two months after she sparked outrage by comparing Covid vaccination policies to “segregation.”
Later, the 32-year-old apologized for her choice of words and stated that she has been completely vaccinated.
Jasmine will not be played by another actress, according to Channel Seven.
Harley Bonner, who played Dr Logan Bennett, trailed her out the door.
Harley, 30, who previously played Josh Willis in Neighbours, left Home and Away in January, allegedly because he refused to get vaccinated.
Covid-19 vaccination is required for all actor and crew members working on Seven Network productions.
