Luke Jacobz, 41, is grieving the loss of his dog, Ollie, and has shared a devastating Instagram post about it.
The actor admitted it was “impossible to express the words” to describe his pain while posting a photo of the cute French pug.
“My sweet Ollie went down for his final sleep today… I am far from words,” he wrote.
“He was my joy, my happiness and my mate.. I have memories of him with my dad, but most of all I remember him with my mum and John.. who was his “little mate”
“I’ll miss you beyond what I can put into words,” the Home & Away alum said. Thank you for being his true family and loving him more than the oxygen we breathe, Mum and John! I appreciate you, my boy!”
Luke received an outpouring of support from his industry peers and fans.
“So sorry mate! They are family. Sending all the love ?,” Sunrise weatherman Sam Mac penned in the comments.
Since 2012, the I’m A Celeb alum has been routinely posting Ollie to his Instagram account. He also has a dog named Dash, an Australian Shepherd.
The 41-year-old recently shared a couch-side photo with Dash while watching the AFL.

The tragic news comes just days after the Dancing With The Stars alum celebrated his 41st birthday, with his fiancée Raychel writing a heartfelt tribute to him on Instagram.
Sharing a collage of some of her favourite photos of Luke, she wrote: “Happy Birthday to my other half!! I’m forever grateful to be by your side and to celebrate this day with you. Definitely a good egg ? LOVE!! @lukejacobz.”
