Stronger than ever, Justin and Leah may have finally put their trauma behind them in Home And Away. But are they quite ready to walk down the aisle?
Justin (James Stewart) is ecstatic when Leah (Ada Nicodemou) – who has been living with Alf (Ray Meagher) and Marilyn (Emily Symons) – returns home and into his loving arms.
Now that everything appears to be returning to normal, he asks the question he’s been dying to ask for months: is Leah prepared to marry him?
Ada, 46, tells TV WEEK, “Leah is still cautious; everything has to move slowly.” “Is there a chance she won’t lose it again?”
After requesting some time to think things through, Leah speaks with Valerie (Courtney Clarke), her roommate at the mental health clinic who has recently began dating her nephew Theo (Matt Evans). She exhorts her friend to try dating someone.
“Val has lived with her own trauma for some time, but found a sense of purpose in wanting to help Leah renavigate life in Summer Bay,” Courtney explains.
Finding Justin on the beach, Leah boldly declares, “I can’t wait to be your wife!” The wedding is back on! The happy couple kiss and share the news with friends at the Diner.
But, over coffee, as Justin dives into wedding plans, Leah sits quietly. Could she be regretting her words?
