General Hospital Spoilers: Lois’ Dialect Coach Leads to a New Love Story

Spoilers for General Hospital hint that Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) hasn’t had a love partner in a very long time. She has since returned to Port Charles for a number of months, during which she has primarily assisted her daughter Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) in preparing for her nuptials with Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard).

However, the wedding took place months ago, and Lois made the decision to remain in Port Charles in order to be nearer to her daughter and Gio Palmieri, a recent arrival in Port Charles (Giovanni Mazza).

General Hospital Spoilers – Lois Cerullo works for Deception!

Lois became the spokesperson for Deception just a few weeks ago but up until now, she’s mostly been involved in in-store promotions. However, she just finished her televised segment on Home & Heart and with that came a few insecurities.

First, one of the station’s staff members commented to another co-worder about how annoying Lois’ accent was. Unfortunately, Lois overheard the conversation but she still did an amazing job selling Deceptions products.

GH Spoilers – Lois Cerullo is concerned about her accent

As viewers know, Lois has always had a very heavy Brooklyn accent. It’s always been as much a part of her as her flashy clothes and nails. But at the end of the segment, a viewer called in and complained about how difficult it was to understand her.

This made Lois terribly self-conscious despite reassurances from both Brook Lynn and Gio. In fact, after her discussion with Gio, Lois made a call to a dialect coach for an appointment.

General Hospital Spoilers – Lois Cerullo deserves a love of her own!

Although Lois may be going on a voyage of self-discovery, perhaps there’s more to this than meets the eye. What if Lois is immediately attracted to the coach and the feeling becomes mutual. Could this be how Lois meets her next romantic interest.

Perhaps the coach will even convince Lois that she is beautiful just as she is and advise her not to change a thing even as they agree to see each other as a potential date. It’s about time Lois had a love of her own!

What do you think?

Is Lois being too self-conscious? Or did the caller have a point about her accent? Could a dialect coach bring much needed romance to Lois’ life? Anything can happen in Port Charles so stay tuned to General Hospital airing weekdays on ABC.
