Spoilers for General Hospital indicate that Sonny Corinthos (Maurice Benard) and Lois Cerullo (Rena Sofer) have always been close friends.
What reason is there for them to keep their shared grandson a secret from the public? There are rumors circulating that Brook Lynn Quartermaine (Amanda Setton) may have purposefully left Port Charles following her failed tryst with Dante Falconeri (Dominic Zamprogna) in order to hide an unexpected pregnancy.
We’re left with so many questions now. It seems pretty clear that Giovanni ‘Gio’ Palmieri (Giovanni Mazza) is their son, but is it possible that only Sonny and Lois know it?
General Hospital Spoilers — In the Best Interests of Our Families
Back in the day, Brook Lynn was a complete wreck. It’s fair to say that. She would agree. She did more than a few things she’s not proud of.
Some of them, she’s still hesitant to share with her new hubs, Harrison Chase (Josh Swickard). Could one of her most closely held secrets be that she actually did sleep with Dante when he was drugged — or otherwise — and conceived his child?
If so, it’s quite possible that Lois and Sonny took matters into their own hands after Brook Lynn left town. Would they really decide to circumvent Brook Lynn’s plans to give up their grandchild just so they could know him?
GH Spoilers Say Dante is in the Dark!
Dante obviously knows something, but we don’t know how much. When he told Brook Lynn the truth about their past needs to stay there, it was obvious that there’s more to the story about that time together that we don’t know.
But it could just be that they actually hooked up. Maybe that’s all there is to it in Dante’s mind. Or, maybe he knows she got pregnant and thinks she terminated the pregnancy.
He may also be under the impression that she gave the child up for adoption and has no knowledge of what happened to him.
General Hospital Spoilers — But Brook Lynn Doesn’t Know Either!
I know what you’re thinking. How could Brook Lynn not know? It’s pretty simple. If she decided to give her child up for adoption, it’s entirely possible that she did so without any knowledge of who the child was placed with.
It’s also possible that Sonny used his connections to have the child placed with someone he knew — someone who later moved to the area and carried out the lie about Gio’s paternity so that Brook Lynn would never catch on.
In other words, Brook Lynn may know she has a child out there, but that doesn’t mean she knows it’s Gio! Stay tuned for more GH news and spoilers as the truth explodes and leaves this family in pieces.
