Sharon believes that Heather died accidentally in the apartment shared by Daniel and Lucy Romalotti (Lily Brooks O’Briant). This incident occurred after Heather tried to call the police and Sharon attempted to grab the smartphone from her.
During the struggle, Heather fell backward, hitting her head on shards of broken glass that had shattered earlier due to Sharon’s frantic actions. In the chaos, Sharon also lost consciousness, seemingly falling back and striking her own head.
Y&R Spoilers – What Happened In The Apartment?
If we assume that an unknown third party was present in the apartment, Sharon may be innocent of many of the crimes she believes she committed.
If Heather’s ex-boyfriend had been in Genoa City, he could have entered the apartment to confront her during the chaotic scene that viewers have glimpsed through snippets.
Given this context, it’s possible that he had been watching Heather and Daniel for weeks and took advantage of the confrontation between Heather and Sharon.
To clarify the story, viewers will need an explanation for the gap in time between when both women were unconscious and when Sharon allegedly disposed of Heather’s body in the river—or appeared to do so.
