Young and the Restless Early Weekly Spoilers: Jack Abbott in Danger of Relapse
Next week on The Young and the Restless, Jack Abbott’s close friend, Nikki Newman, is worried about him as his life continues to unravel. He’s currently estranged from his son, Kyle Abbott, and is embroiled in a very public conflict with his wife, Diane Jenkins. Jack has gone so far as to kick Diane out of their home and fire her from Jabot Cosmetics, declaring that their marriage is over and seeking an annulment.
However, it seems likely that Diane and Jack are orchestrating this drama to disguise the true nature of their marriage. This could be a strategy to distance Kyle from Victor Newman while simultaneously undermining Victor’s influence. Yet, this risky maneuver could backfire, putting their relationship in real danger. During this tumultuous time, Nikki plans to visit Jack at the Abbott mansion.
Nikki is clearly concerned that Jack might relapse and return to drugs. He assures her that with the loss of his wife and son, he won’t let his sobriety slip away as well. However, Nikki reminds him that maintaining sobriety is often easier said than done.
Even if Jack and Diane are merely pretending that their marriage is crumbling, the strain could easily become real. If that happens, there’s a significant risk that Jack could relapse and spiral out of control on The Young and the Restless.

Amy expresses her gratitude to Nate for meeting with her, noting that it’s been a long time since she’s been in town. A character from the 1980s, Amy is believed to have connections to Nate’s family. Rumors indicate that she reveals to Nate that he has a brother in need of a transplant, prompting her to seek his assistance.
