Later, after drinking too much, Billy goes to the pub, interrupts the screening, and confesses that he attempted to kiss Todd on the day of Paul’s funeral.

When Daniel expresses his concerns about Bethany spending too much time in the flat, she puts on a brave front and chooses to attend the pub for Paul’s space launch event.
