Toyah Battersby (Georgia Taylor) and Nick Tilsley (Ben Price) are set to take a huge risk in Coronation Street as their relationship continues to evolve following the end of their affair.
The affair began while Leanne became increasingly involved with the cult, The Institute. As Leanne’s attention shifted toward the cult, Nick found himself drawn to Toyah, and soon, Toyah felt the same way.
Leanne discovered the affair after snooping through Rowan’s (Emrhys Cooper) laptop, which contained pictures of Toyah and Nick kissing. This revelation not only exposed the betrayal but also the blackmail by the cult leader.
After Leanne and Nick agreed to end their relationship, Nick quickly turned his focus back to Toyah and openly expressed his feelings for her.
In upcoming episodes, Nick and Toyah act on impulse once more and end up in a steamy moment in the Bistro office. However, just as they begin to get dressed, they hear Leanne approaching. Will they be caught in the act?
Talking about the storyline, Ben Price (Nick) explained, “Nick has always tried to play the middle ground with his family, but after everything with Leanne, he’s decided to be honest about his feelings. Leanne has done things that can’t be undone, and now Nick is speaking his truth.”
