From new River Boys to the return of familiar faces, here’s what we know so far about Home and Away 2025.
In just over a month,Home and Awaywill resume its place on our TVs (and in our hearts) for another year, with the show on a little summer hiatus until January 13 2025.
Fans were left less than impressed with the 2024 season finale, which was all relatively tame until the last couple of minutes of drama, which saw Cash Newman (Nicholas Cartwright) crouched over a bloodied and possibly dead Tim (George Pullar).
While it looked like Cash was caught, literally, red-handed after harassing Eden (Stephanie Panazzo) and Tim for weeks about their relationship, viewers at home know that Cash had originally gone to find his ex Eden who was at a secluded resort with Tim and the rest of the band Lyrik, to warn her that Tim’s ex-client Nerida was on the rampage and out for revenge after saying she had once been in a relationship with Tim.
So what’s next for Home and Away? Let’s find out together.
Everything we know so far about Home and Away 2025 (and that 2024 cliffhanger)
Did Cash kill Tim? Is Tim even dead? What was Nerida’s role in the dramatic last scenes of Home and Away 2024? All of this is expected to be answered fairly soon in January, but there are a few key things we already know.
Firstly, Nicholas Cartwright has been spotted filming 2025 scenes in his police uniform, so it’s safe to say Cash won’t be behind bars for murder or assault.
It appears Cash is busy arresting a whole bunch of new River Boys, so at least he’s doing his job for once. Supposedly.
Which Home and Away characters are departing in 2025?
Home and Away fans will say a sad goodbye to Rose (Kirsty Marillier) in 2025, with the actress spotted filming her last scenes in October, driving out of Summer Bay as her friends wave her off. Fans have begun theorising that perhaps Rose gets a promotion to detective and leaves for the big city.
Actress Kirsty Marillier is gearing up for several exciting new projects in the coming year, including her role in Picnic at Hanging Rock alongside Olivia DeJonge at the Sydney Opera House, running from February 17 to April 5, 2025.
Rumors have also circulated about Tane Parata (Ethan Browne) possibly exiting the show. However, fans recently spotted Ethan filming scenes at Palm Bay, suggesting he’ll remain on our screens at least until mid-2025.
