It’s the final straw for Roo.
Home and Away airs Eliza Sherwood’s dramatic exit next week as she leaves Summer Bay with a bang.
Eliza is sent away after finally confessing to her recent creepy behaviour – but she has the last word in a showdown with her foster mum Roo Stewart before she goes.
In tense scenes coming up on Channel 5, Roo finally grows suspicious over Eliza’s failure to help Alf when he was suffering from worrying chest pains.
Deeply disturbed over Eliza standing back and doing nothing when Alf needed her, Roo confides in Harper Matheson over the troubling situation.

“Harper’s history as a social worker makes her the perfect person for Roo to seek advice from,” our Home and Away source explains.
“When Harper’s ex-fiancé Tane gets involved in the conversation, he’s quick to point out that Eliza secretly recorded a video of Harper when she was in labour.
“This is news to Harper, as nobody had found the right moment to tell her about Eliza’s strange behaviour that day. It’s suddenly clear to everyone that she was up to no good then, too…”
At Tane’s suggestion, the group look through Eliza’s phone log and discover that she lied about calling emergency services to help Harper. This put Harper and her baby at serious risk.

Back at the Stewart house, Roo takes a fresh look through Eliza’s music box and finds new items inside – including a photo of Harper in labour and Alf’s missing heart medication.
Roo confronts Eliza, who finally admits that she may have wanted Alf to die. When Roo then asks about the other weird “souvenirs” in Eliza’s box, the teen admits that she previously lied about why she had them.
As Roo realises that Eliza is dangerous, she makes a formal report against the teenager. It’s agreed that Eliza can’t continue living with the Stewarts, as she needs to be taken away for psychiatric help.

“Roo tries to part on good terms with Eliza and offers her some heartfelt advice,” our insider adds.
“Eliza isn’t interested and cruelly brands Roo the worst foster carer she’s ever had.
“It’s obvious that Eliza is just lashing out, but her words still hit Roo hard. All Roo’s ever wanted to do is help Eliza and give her a stable home. Could this put her off from fostering for good?”
