EastEnders fans are convinced they know how Bobby Brazier’s character Freddie Slater will leave the BBC soap, after the actor announced he was quitting the role

EastEnders enthusiasts think they’ve cracked the code on Freddie Slater’s impending exit from the show, following the revelation that Bobby Brazier is hanging up his boots.

Bobby first burst onto the BBC One soap scene as Freddie back in 2022 and has been at the centre of a whirlwind of storylines, including the bombshell discovery of his biological dad’s true identity and his will-they-won’t-they romance with Anna Knight (Molly Rainford).

Some of his other memorable moments include receiving an ADHD diagnosis and a dramatic showdown with stalker Theo Hawthorne (William Ellis) after catching him attempting to attack Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner).

While it’s been confirmed that Freddie will bid goodbye to Albert Square in the coming months, the details of his exit storyline remain under wraps.

However, EastEnders fans are convinced they’ve pieced together the puzzle of Freddie’s departure, and it might just involve the return of one of the soap’s most beloved characters, reports Belfast Live.

Devoted fans are crossing their fingers that his exit will pave the way for a comeback from Freddie’s mum, Little Mo, played by Kacey Ainsworth. Notably, despite Freddie’s arrival in Walford in 2022, Little Mo has been conspicuous by her absence.

EastEnders enthusiasts have taken to social media to share their hopes of Kacey reprising her iconic role, with one fan commenting: “I doubt it but a Little Mo cameo for his exit would be perfect.”

“A Little Mo cameo would be brilliant especially on the 25th Anniversary of The Slaters. If they keep this one under wraps this could be a great cameo and a huge exit for Freddie,” another fan chimed in.

Meanwhile, another fan chimed in: “Can we get a Jane Beale style cameo for Freddie’s exit from Little Mo pls.”

Kacey graced our screens as Little Mo from 2000 to 2006. She waved goodbye to Walford when her on-screen hubby Billy Mitchell (played by Perry Fenwick) confessed he couldn’t raise Freddie upon discovering he wasn’t his.

The actress chose to exit the soap to chase new acting opportunities. Since then, she’s shone in The Bill, A Touch of Frost, Casualty, Grantchester, and more.

Kacey hasn’t shut the door on a potential EastEnders comeback, previously hinting that it all hinges on “availability” and a cracking storyline.
