1. Jo and Lacey confront David
Jo comes home frustrated after making no progress on the investigation into Councillor Craig Wendell, only to find David at home on a sick day.
Suspicious of her dad’s behaviour, Jo confides in Lacey, who urges her to ask more questions.
After reviewing their mum’s funeral book, the sisters are shocked to see a signature from Wendell. They later decide to confront David, convinced that Wendell is guilty.
2. Sonny makes another mistake with Dana
Harper is still struggling with her eye injury and Sonny tries to make amends with her – by buying her a bear with an eye patch.
Dana is horrified by his poor taste, but when Harper discovers it, she is amused.
To Sonny’s surprise, Dana apologises and admits to taking her stress out on him. Sonny is relieved as they finally make amends, but this doesn’t last long when he makes another mistake.
3. David is furious with Lacey
David tells Jo and Lacey that Wendell probably isn’t responsible for their mother’s death, but the sisters remain convinced that he is.
David later reveals he’s been ordered to stand down on the case and confronts Lacey about sneaking photos of his whiteboard.
When Lacey is forced to own up, David is furious and insists they stop keeping secrets from him.
4. Sonny shows his loyalty
Sonny is suited and booted for the wedding but is confused by Dana’s cold behaviour towards him again.
Dana is honest about her feelings and tells Sonny that she doesn’t want him attending Cash and Eden’s wedding without her.
Dana starts to regret her attitude towards Sonny later but is reassured when he proves that she is his priority.
5. Mackenzie and Levi get heartbreaking news
Mac and Levi are over the moon following their recent baby news.
As Levi heads into work, Mac starts to become unsettled when she experiences abdominal pain. When Levi arrives home, a distraught Mac tells him that she’s bleeding.
Although Levi tries to keep Mac calm as they head to hospital, they return with devastating news – they’ve lost the baby.
6. Leah and Justin support David
David is unsettled by Wendell’s signature in Kristina’s funeral book.
Justin and Leah notice something is amiss with David, who explains that the man who caused his wife’s death may have unknowingly shaken his hand at the funeral.
Worried, Justin and Leah rally round and bring dinner over to David’s place, wanting to offer support.
7. Eden and Cash’s wedding day arrives
It’s the day of Eden and Cash’s wedding and she remains calm among all the chaos.
Remi plays guitar as she walks down the aisle, and Eden and Cash later exchange heartfelt vows surrounded by their loved ones.
After being pronounced husband and wife, the newlyweds steal a quiet moment together to admire the sunset. A happy ending!
8. Mackenzie and Levi struggle with their loss
Mac and Levi reel from their devastating news, but she insists Levi still attends the wedding without her.
At the wedding, a struggling Levi explains to Jimmy that they lost the baby, and Jimmy insists he go home and be with Mac.
9. Lacey and Theo make a dangerous plan
After another hypnotherapy session, Jo recalls a man in a suit checking her mother’s pulse, although she couldn’t see his face.
Buoyed up by this new information, Lacey skips the wedding and calls Wendell, claiming there was a witness to his crime and insists he comes to meet her.
Theo is worried about the plan but refuses to let Lacey go alone, despite warnings from a furious Leah.
10. Theo gets a new opportunity
As Theo tries to get through to a determined Lacey, he gets an exciting offer from Remi.
When Remi asks him to sign with his record label, Theo happily accepts, once he gets back from his holiday with Lacey.
11. Tane follows his heart
As everyone celebrates the bride and groom at the wedding reception, Tane finds himself reflecting on his relationship with Jo.
Swept up in the romance of the day, Tane decides to leave her a voicemail, explaining that he misses her.
12. Theo’s life is left in the balance
Lacey and Theo arrive at the meeting point, and she reveals her plan to pretend she witnessed the accident that killed her mum.
When Craig Wendell arrives, Lacey confronts him and demands that he confess his crime to the police.
Wendell agrees to her terms but then gets in his car and speeds toward her.
Theo instantly jumps in to protect Lacey but gets knocked over in the process. As Theo lies motionless on the ground, Lacey is left fearing for his life…
