What’s next in Summer Bay?
Coming up on Home and Away, Leah decides the only way to escape her marriage problems with Justin is by leaving Summer Bay. Elsewhere, Harper gives Kerrie her marching orders, Jo and Tane resume their relationship, and Levi eyes up a new job at the hospital.
Here are 13 big moments to look out for.
1. Cash feels guilty
The stress of keeping Remi’s brain tumour secret from Eden is weighing heavily on Cash, as he comes up with a new lie about the police volunteer program.
Cash then heads to the recording studio where he finds Remi, who’s injured his arm after suffering another seizure.
The cop bandages his friend’s cut and pleads with Remi to see sense and seek medical help.
2. Sonny lashes out at Dana
Sonny is feeling smothered by Dana, as she takes charge of his recovery and enlists Harper’s help to call local clinics.
The sisters present their findings to Sonny, who’s annoyed that he doesn’t have a say in what’s happening to him.
Unable to bite his tongue any longer, Sonny snaps and tells Dana that she needs to back off a bit.
3. Kerrie’s dirty plan backfires
Kerrie’s keen to get some dirt on Tane and a quick online search throws up details of his criminal history.
Feeling victorious, Kerrie threatens to expose his past to Harper, but is wrongfooted when Tane reveals she already knows everything.
Kerrie heads back to her motel. While on her way, she runs into Dana, who’s in distress following her fight with Sonny.
4. John lifts Sonny’s spirits
Still upset, Dana starts opening up to her mum but quickly regrets it when memories of Kerrie’s drug abuse resurface.
She returns to the hospital and says sorry to Sonny for her intense behaviour. He accepts her apology, but tells Dana he’d still like space.
The next day, John pays Sonny a surprise visit and encourages him to give rehab a chance.
5. Harper orders Kerrie out of town
Harper is fuming over Kerrie’s attempt to blackmail Tane. She tells her mum that Tane would never neglect his son, the way she did with her and Dana.
Later at Salt, Harper and Dana agree they can’t have Kerrie in their lives any longer.
Harper tells Kerrie she needs to leave Summer Bay. But will she go quietly?
6. Abigail and Mali aren’t on the same page
Levi and Mackenzie are left red-faced when Mali and Abigail interrupt them getting jiggy on the sofa.
The next morning, Mac shows Abigail a magazine containing a romance compatibility test. Abigail wants to try it out with Mali, but he’s not so keen.
The couple’s score is a measly 7%, which makes Abigail worry about the strength of their relationship.
7. Levi wants a career change
Levi has news for Mac and reveals he wants to change jobs and work in the emergency department.
Mac feels Levi has put too much time and energy into building the cardiothoracic unit to just leave, but he’s confident the other doctors can keep it going.
Levi also points out that the ED position is only temporary, so he can go back to heart surgery if it doesn’t work out.
8. Marilyn hatches an escape plan
Jo returns home from hospital and quickly grows irritated by David’s constant fussing.
Leah arrives at the house to drop off some care parcels and faces an awkward encounter with Justin.
After chatting things through with David, Leah decides she needs some distance from Justin. And the next day, she stuns Marilyn by announcing she’s off to Cyprus to see VJ.
9. Jo and Tane are back on
Lacey gives Tane an update on Jo and explains that Eddie is no longer in the picture.
Meanwhile, David pays Tane a visit and apologises for getting in the way of his and Jo’s relationship.
David brings Tane back to the house, where Jo is resting. The exes decide to take a walk together, and as Jo apologises for choosing Eddie, Tane responds by pulling her in for a kiss.
10. Lacey rejects Holden’s advances
Lacey gets a surprise visit at the Surf Club from Holden, who reveals that he looked at her socials to find out where she works.
Holden reveals he’s just come from Isaac’s funeral and is in need of a friendly face.
After a game of pool, Holden asks Lacey if she’d like to grab some food, but she turns him down.
11. Justin issues Leah an ultimatum
Justin regrets how he’s treated Leah, so Alf orchestrates a mediation session to get them talking again.
As tempers flare, Alf kicks Justin out. Justin heads back home and pleads with Leah not to escape to Cyprus.
She thinks a six-month break will do them good, but Justin warns if she gets on the plane then they’re finished for good.
12. Tane and Jo keep things under wraps
Tane and Jo are thrilled to be back together, but decide to keep the news to themselves for a while.
The couple head back to Tane’s for a romantic night in, where talk turns to the train crash.
Tane wants to know if Jo is only with him because he saved her life, but she assures him that’s not the case.
13. Eden’s future is up in the air
David is disappointed to learn the volunteer program he was trying to set up won’t be going ahead.
Now he’s faced with the task of letting Eden know as she was first in line to take part.
But how will Eden take the news? And what will she do now?
