EastEnders viewers are convinced another member of the Moon family could be making a return to Walford following Jake Moon’s comeback
EastEnders has broadcast Jake Moon’s return, but viewers are convinced another comeback twist is lurking around the corner.
Jake, portrayed by Joel Beckett, has been missing from Albert Square for nearly 20 years, following his explosive departure in 2006 after murdering his brother Danny (Jake Maskall).

On Monday (February 9), Jake paid a visit to Zoe Slater (Michelle Ryan) in prison, where she remains on remand for Anthony Trueman’s (Nicholas Bailey) death.
Jake questioned Zoe about why she had murdered her former partner, Anthony, and appeared determined to discover whether Chrissie was genuinely implicated in the killing, as Zoe and Kat Slater (Jessie Wallace) suspect, reports OK!.
Under pressure, Jake admitted he was fed up with waiting for Chrissie, who had become fixated on Zoe. Consequently, this represented his final effort to uncover a motive to remain before accepting employment in France.
Unable to discover that motive, Jake marched out of the prison. Kat and Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) searched for him and discovered his houseboat in Camden, London, where his luggage had been prepared and was awaiting collection.
Meanwhile, Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) was organising his journey to Australia to visit his brother Spencer (Christopher Parker), who had been abandoned by his partner. Last week, Alfie and Spencer, who previously had a lengthy romance with Vicki, chatted over the phone as the siblings organised their long-overdue get-together.
With Jake’s return to Walford, several EastEnders viewers are certain his cousin Spencer will also stage a comeback.
Taking to X, one fan questioned: “Is Spencer gonna come back then orrrrrr? ? #EastEnders?”.
Another posted: “Is Spencer about to return with a new head? #EastEnders”, whilst a third added: “#Spencer would be a good comeback.”
One supporter wrote: “Less than 24 hours to go until Jake Moon is back on Albert Square. I’m so excited – I love that the Moon’s are being built up again and I hope this leads to a possible return for Alfie’s brother Spencer too, following Thursday’s scene #EastEnders.”
