Sam Frost’s departure from the bay was confirmed by Channel Seven in late December. This week, the actress, who has been playing Jasmine Delaney since December 2017, wrapped filming on her final scenes. This comes one month after she and the Summer Bay soap agreed to a one-month pause in order for her to get the COVID-19 vaccine.
“We support and accept Sam’s decision to leave Home and Away,” a Channel 7 official said in a statement to Digital Spy. “Sam goes with our heartfelt appreciation and best wishes for the future,” says co-star Lynne McGranger, although Sam Frost as Jasmin Delaney could return.
Part of the reason for the star’s demise was the implementation of the new rule channel 7. “To offer the safest possible work environment for cast, crew, and presenters, Seven Productions has made the decision to only engage people who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19, taking effect in January next year,” a Seven spokeswoman previously said of the vaccination rule.
“Seven strongly encourages vaccination to protect our people, their colleagues, and their families,” McGranger states that there are possibilities of Sam returning as Jasmine after some time as she is spending some precious time with her family and friends.
And the next star channel seven confirmed was Harley Bonner quitting Home and Away.
On January 8, Channel Seven confirmed that the 30-year-old star portraying paramedic turned head of ED Logan Bennet would not return to the bay when production starts for 2022.
In a statement released by a spokesperson, the network said, “Channel Seven can confirm Harley will not return to Home and Away when filming returns in the coming weeks. “Harley leaves with our best wishes and sincere thanks for his work on the show.”
“To offer the safest possible work environment for cast, crew, and presenters, Seven Productions has made the decision to only engage persons who are completely vaccinated against Covid-19, taking effect in January next year,” a Seven spokeswoman said in late 2021.
“Vaccination is strongly recommended by Seven to safeguard our employees, their coworkers, and their families.” After Sam Frost’s decision to leave the bay, Bonner is the second to announce his departure. But, like Jasmine, we’ll be seeing Dr. Bennet until at least June 2022.

Ari exits and asks Cash to let Mia out in return for information on Matthew’s murderer. Ari informs Cash the same night Mia is let out that he killed Matthew, who was Chloe’s father, while they were both bickering and things went out of hand, inadvertently murdering him.
