Lukas opted to pursue acting and, at the age of 19, was admitted into the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in Perth.
He earned his Bachelor of Arts (Acting) in 2016 and made his acting debut in the 2013 film Hens Night, as Mikey.

They noticed Lukas standing under a Bon Voyage sign and speculated that his time on the show was drawing to a close.
One guy posted on the Home and Away Spoilers & Discussions Facebook group that he had completed filming his sequences as his character left the Bay.
“It has been confirmed that Lukas Radovich (Ryder) has stopped filming last Friday,” they announced on December 1, 2021. “He will still be on our screens until May/June 2022 (Australia).”
