After a sad miscarriage in 2019, Australian soap actors Eliza Taylor and her husband Bob Morley are expecting their first child together.
The joyous news was announced on Monday by the couple, who both appeared in the CW’s series The 100.
The couple said they were ‘elated’ in a joint post on Instagram, noting that their route to having a baby had not been smooth sailing.’
They posted a picture of themselves wearing ‘Mama Bear’ and ‘Papa Bear’ slippers, as well as a pair of ‘Baby Bear’ booties.
‘Our journey to pregnancy was not always smooth sailing but we are elated to announce our little bundle is officially on the way,’ Eliza captioned her post.
‘Gearing up for the greatest parts ever,’ Bob, 37, wrote below the photo. We can’t wait to fill those big small shoes.’
‘I’m so very proud of my husband, his courage, his vulnerability, and his determination,’ she wrote in part of her post.
Both Bob and Eliza rose to prominence on Australian soap operas, with Bob appearing on Home and Away and Eliza on Neighbours.
Apart from starring in the CW’s hit The 100 and becoming a household name in the United States, Eliza also starred in the Netflix feature Christmas Inheritance in 2017.
