He’s proven to be one of the most versatile actors on the big screen.
Chris Hemsworth, on the other hand, admitted that there’s one thing he can’t do.
This week, a friend of the actor shared a candid video of the 37-year-old Thor star’s terrible singing.
The former soap actor was performing the theme tune from his most famous show, Home and Away.
The Blackhat hunk strummed a guitar in the background in footage shot by his assistant and primary school chum Aaron Grist.
Meanwhile, the camera was focused on Chris’ 2004 Logie for Best New Male Talent.
‘The man himself, about to play the theme song for Home and Away,’ Grist said.
Chris then shouted out a few out-of-tune bars of New Zealand composer Mike Perjanik’s popular song.
Hemsworth took time out of his hectic schedule on Wednesday to spend time with his eight-year-old daughter India Rose, which resulted in the humorous video.
While teaching his daughter to skateboard, he posted a video on Instagram.
Chris can be seen holding India’s hand while she stands on a skateboard and skates over the hurdles in the video.
He wore a black jumper with a pair of similar colored pants and sneakers.
The actor also posted a video of his son riding a horse as his wife, Elsa Pataky, took control of the reins.
Chris captioned the post: ‘My wife and I designed the ultimate family workout. All you need is a child, a skateboard, a horse and a Can Do attitude. Good luck.’
Chris and Elsa began dating in early 2010 and married in December of that year.
India Rose was born in 2012, and Tristan and Sasha, their twin sons, were born in 2014.
After migrating from Los Angeles, the family of five now lives in a $30 million mega-mansion in Byron Bay on New South Wales North Coast.
With the help of Sydney-based MCK Architects, they spent years refurbishing their property, which sits on 4.2 hectares of ground – but the development was met with some opposition from residents, who compared it to a multi-story parking park or shopping complex.
Elsa, 45, told Sunday Life in March that the keys to a happy marriage are patience, communication, and understanding.
‘Marriage takes a lot of work; I don’t believe every relationship is ideal,’ she remarked.
‘It takes patience, understanding, a lot of talking, getting to know the other person, learning to know yourself, and figuring out what you’re doing wrong,’ says the author.
It’s about not letting one’s pride get in the way.’
Elsa also explained that it’s important to spend time together as a couple without the children.
