CORONATION Street fans suspect they know who murdered the abuser Joel Deering after his body is found in the river.
The mystery of Joel Deering’s disappearance is revealed when his body is found next week in Coronation Street.
In upcoming scenes on the ITV soap, Craig Tinker and Kit Green review CCTV footage from a train station car park, where they spot Joel Deering and his father near a locker.
Kit then questions Joel’s dad, Gus, demanding answers.
Meanwhile, three boys discover a body floating in the river.
Craig later informs DS Lisa Swaine and Kit that Joel’s body has been found.
Kit steals himself to break the news to Dee-Dee Bailey and Lauren Bolton at the hospital.
Lisa breaks the news to people in the Rovers.
Kit calls back at the hospital and tells Lauren that the post mortem revealed that Joel was dead before he entered the river.
So, they’re now looking at a murder investigation.
But who might be behind it?
Kit questions Lauren about her whereabouts on the night of Joel’s death, September 27th.
While Dee-Dee tells her dad Ed Bailey and uncle Ronnie Bailey that Joel was murdered.
Corrie fans are convinced they have sussed who the murderer is.

Meanwhile, another fan expressed on X, “The culprit will likely be Joel’s ex-wife or one of his previous victims before Lauren.”

Ellie was another one of Joel’s victims that he groomed.
The teenage girl confessed all to Lisa and Dee-Dee about what Joel did to her.
But refused to give an official statement over fears Joel would kill her for speaking up.
However, after visiting Lauren and her son Frankie in the hospital, Ellie admitted she been groomed, assaulted and coerced into a sexual relationship by Joel, with him offering her money and gifts.
And she agreed to give a formal statement. Could a confrontation with Joel lead to him being murdered by Ellie?
Also next week, Kit informs Lisa that Joel died from two blows to the head, likely delivered by a heavy weapon such as a crowbar.
Lisa is taken aback when Yasmeen Nazir reveals she threw Mason Radcliffe out because he had a crowbar.
Betsy Swaine becomes curious when her mother advises her to stay away from Mason, and she warns him that the police are onto him.
Meanwhile, Mason is seen disposing of the crowbar in a bin behind the factory, but Kit catches him in the act.
Additionally, Dee-Dee tells Ronnie that the police suspect Joel was attacked with a crowbar.
