When Kit Green (Jacob Roberts) approached the dubious businessman and gave him a sizable bundle of cash, she was shocked.
She then went up to Kit in the street and decided to take pictures of the whole thing. He pretended not to know until she showed him the footage.
Eventually, she demanded £400 by the next day in exchange for deleting the footage. However, it appeared Kit had a scheme to outsmart Beth, involving her son confessing his darkest secret.
Later, Kit admitted to PC Tinker (Colson Smith) that he’d compromised himself professionally. Despite expressing doubts about his suitability for the police force, Craig tried to reassure him.
Unbeknownst to him, Kit was attempting to extract information from him, aware of his past misdeeds.
Manipulating his feelings, Kit suggested that only fellow officers could understand their predicament, hoping to coax Craig into revealing his dark secret.
Coronation Street fans will recall that PC Tinker once assisted ex-Faye Windass (Ellie Leach) and Emma Brooker (Alexandra Mardell) in covering up the murder of an elderly man, a secret he’s kept to himself.
