Coronation Street: Mason’s Dark Secret Uncovered – But It’s Unrelated to Joel’s Murder

Amid Mason Radcliffe on Coronation Street becoming a suspect in Joel Deering’s murder, there could be another twist on the way for the teen.

The character cut ties with Yasmeen Nazir on Monday night after the sad exit of Stu Carpenter. Mason came between the couple as Stu tried to support criminal Mason, but Yasmeen was keen to avoid this.

Mason had been involved in bullying Liam Connor months ago, and upon his return, it was revealed that his older brothers were pressuring him to get involved in criminal activities. Stu tried to guide Mason onto the right path, but a disagreement with Yasmeen led to his decision to leave.

A few days ago, Mason was told he couldn’t stay with the couple, and it was soon confirmed that he had found another place to live. He had also been working at Yasmeen’s restaurant, but that came to an end on Monday night.

Mason announced that it was his final shift, saying he had secured a new job. However, Yasmeen grew suspicious about the suddenness of this change, doubting his explanation.

Although the teen claimed he had been offered a job at a garden center, it was evident that he wasn’t being honest. As Yasmeen pressed for details about this supposed job, she clearly expressed her disbelief in what he was telling her.

But is Mason concealing something? Does he truly have a new job, or has he been pulled back into his brothers’ criminal activities, agreeing to do shady work for them?

This theory seems plausible, especially since he’s moved away from the street and suddenly no longer needs the restaurant job. The question remains: will Yasmeen take action based on her concerns and try to help him?

In upcoming scenes Mason will find himself a suspect in Joel Deering’s murder. When it emerges that Joel was killed with a crowbar, at least this is what detectives believe, Mason finds himself under the spotlight.

He is seen getting rid of the same tool, raising suspicions. However, could it be too early to draw a connection? Perhaps he’s disposing of the crowbar for a different reason, potentially related to his “new job.”

If this is true, it might suggest that Mason is concealing a dark secret unrelated to Joel. Should he find himself interrogated about Joel’s murder, could he end up facing imprisonment for the crime?
