EastEnders viewers have been left fearing for one Walford resident
EastEnders has confirmed a worrying twist for Harry Mitchell (Elijah Holloway) as the mechanic gets caught up in a dangerous drugs scheme. But viewers have been left fearing for his pal Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho).
During the latest episodes of the BBC soap, Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) has desperately been trying to make a load of cash very quickly after the Panesar family business accounts were drained by Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris).
Ravi has since turned to drug dealing and stashed a load of drugs in a car boot before hiding the vehicle at The Arches, after convincing Harry he could also earn easy money.
However, when Harry went to check on Ravi’s stockpile worth £50k, he was shocked to find the drugs were missing. He was sent into a panic and immediately accused his mum Nicola Mitchell (Laura Doddington) of stealing it.
In a surprise twist, Kojo was revealed to have taken the drugs and flushed them down the toilet. When Kojo found the drugs, he didn’t want to be associated with illegal activity and took drastic action, believing that he was protecting Harry and Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden).
During Thursday’s episode, available now on BBC iPlayer, Harry is left worried about the inevitable fallout with Ravi and his dodgy accomplice.
In an attempt to protect Kojo, Harry makes an impulsive decision to stage a break-in at The Arches with the help of Nicola. He hopes that Ravi and his dodgy contact Okie will believe the drugs were stolen by random criminals and look elsewhere for answers.
The scheming comes as Ravi goes all-out to give his teenage daughter Avani (Aaliyah James) a lavish birthday party to remember after her difficult year, which doesn’t go unnoticed by Harry.
However, EastEnders fans are now fearing for Kojo’s life as they predict Ravi will be out to avenge the mechanic for discarding his drugs stash.
Taking to X, one person wrote: “Kojo – dead man walking”, while a second added: “The way my chest was tight watching Kojo flush that brick down the toilet, he’s finished.”
A third urged: “Me too – I just hope Kojo doesn’t get caught in the crossfire following his actions at the end of tonight’s Double Bill. I know he meant well but he’s just made things 100x worse for Harry, Phil Nicola and Ravi now. #EastEnders.”
“I love Kojo but why on earth would he do that omggg???? Ravi’s gonna finish him #EastEnders”, exclaimed one fan.
“I swear if anything happens to sweet angel Kojo we riot #EastEnders”, added another. “EastEnders writers going to have a character with autism potentially murdered real nice.#eastenders”, stated one viewer.
