EastEnders is set to air more worrying scenes for one Walford resident in new health twist
EastEnders is poised to broadcast more distressing scenes for Elaine Knight (Hariett Thorpe) following her double heart attack.
This week, The Queen Vic was fraught with tension as Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) informed her mum Elaine of her plans to sell the pub, a decision Elaine pleaded with her to reconsider.
A heated argument ensued between the two when George Knight (Colin Salmon) urged Linda to empathise with Elaine’s perspective. This conversation leads Elaine to suspect that her estranged husband is scheming against her behind her back.
After failing to secure funds to rescue The Vic, Elaine lost her cool in front of all the patrons before collapsing.
Linda and Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) are left shocked, but Elaine soon admits to having a panic attack before taking another turn for the worse, reports Belfast Live.

In the upcoming episodes, Elaine’s health continues to be a concern for Linda after her heart attack.
However, instead of resting, a resolute Elaine seizes the chance to step in at The Albert when Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) fails to secure any entertainment for the bar, much to the admiration of love rival Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins).
Meanwhile, Linda fears Elaine is overexerting herself following her ordeal. Will she manage to get through to her mum?
Upon Anna Knight’s (Molly Rainford) return to the Square from Spain, she immediately clashes with her dad, George, for keeping her uninformed about his divorce from Elaine and the sale of The Vic.

Anna pleads with George to have a word with Elaine about slowing down after her heart attack, as both she and Linda struggle to make her understand.
Is there hope for Elaine’s recovery from her heart attacks?
Or is the pub landlady heading towards a perilous downward spiral?
