It appears Keanu Taylor’s death has come back to haunt the six Walford ladies in a new twist
EastEnders has aired a surprise twist for The Six as Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris) plans to leave Walford with her cousin Felix Baker (Matthew James Morrison) in tow, but fans fear a bombshell is about to go off.
The BBC One soap has revisited the murder saga from Christmas Day 2023, when Keanu Taylor (Danny Walters) was killed by Linda Carter (Kellie Bright) as he tried to strangle Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean).
Kathy Cotton (Gillian Taylforth), Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal), Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner) and Denise Fox (Diane Parish) also found themselves complicit in the harrowing death.
The murder didn’t stay secret for long as a number of locals then found out, including Linda’s son Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff), and villainous Nish Panesar (Navin Chowdhry) eventually took responsibility for the crime in the month prior to his death.
Bernie eventually discovered the truth about her brothers death and was horrified to know she’d been working in the café where Keanu’s body had been dumped.
Before Nish died in January, he left all of his businesses to his grandchildren but put Bernie in charge until they are adults.
On Monday (June 30), Bernie was revealed to be rinsing the Panesar account for cash and has blamed Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) who has become desperate for cash.
But Vicki had her suspicions about Bernie running the Panesar businesses and she stole Bernie’s laptop to uncover the crime.
Bernie was forced to agree to her blackmail deal, half of the money in exchange for her silence. But she knew her time was running out, and urged Felix to start a new life in Spain with her when all the money hits her bank.
She also hoped this would influence his future with Johnny Carter (Charlie Suff) as Felix plans to start a new life with the son Keanu’s killer.
Felix was stunned by her revelation and didn’t hold back on asking her details, but he also feared her meddling with the Panesar clan.
EastEnders fans are now predicting Bernie and Felix will leave Walford together, but not before telling the police the truth about Keanu’s death and putting The Six back in danger.
Taking to X, one person wrote: “BERNIE REVENGE ON THE SIX I knew it! #eastenders.”
A second stated: “The murdering six gang’s secret comes back! Somehow I see this leading to Felix and Johnny breaking up… #EastEnders.”
A third added: “I really want Bernie’s exit to expose the six for Keanu’s murder before she leaves either to the police or to the whole square, but I can’t see 6 big characters leaving #eastenders.”
