EastEnders is set to air a huge showdown between Vicki Fowler and Bernie Taylor following bombshell news from Sharon
EastEnders is set to air an update on Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) after the character made an abrupt exit from Walford following the funeral of Martin Fowler (James Bye) earlier this year.
Sharon had also been caught up in turmoil following her failed relationship with Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) and a fling with her former husband, Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp).
The blonde bombshell’s antics left Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) distraught after he confirmed his true feelings for his ex-wife following a mental breakdown.
Before Sharon’s sudden departure, she was reunited with adoptive sister Vicki Fowler (Alice Haig) who returned from Australia following her uncle Martin’s tragic death in February.

But Vicki wasn’t alone with her boyfriend Ross Marshall (Alex Walkinshaw) and his son Joel (Max Murray) in tow, and it soon became clear that the trio were carrying a secret.
It was soon revealed that tearaway Joel had upskirted a pupil in class and his dad was forced to pay out a huge sum of cash to avoid any repercussions, and the family are not allowed to return Down Under.
Wanting to support her younger sister, Sharon agreed that the family could stay with her and Albie, and agreed to lend Ross the cash he needed under the assumption he was in debt.
Sharon then left Walford and headed to the other side of the world herself, going to visit Vicki’s mum Michelle Fowler (Susan Tully).

In her absence, Ross has landed himself a job, Joel has started school and Vicki has taken on some work for the Panesar clan by checking over their business accounts.
In recent scenes, Bernie Taylor (Clair Norris), who is trustee of the Panesar accounts, was questioned about some unusual invoices, and Vicki decided to address with Suki Panesar-Unwin (Balvinder Sopal) and Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara).
In upcoming scenes, the matter of the missing money is finally revealed, but Sharon isn’t happy. Vicki and Ross are living the dream as they finally land on their feet and enjoy their new life in Albert Square.

But their joy is soon cut short when Zack Hudson (James Farrar) announces that Sharon intends to evict them from the family home after failing to repay their debt.
In an attempt to get some quick cash, Vicki asks Bernie for an advance but ends up getting fired from her job, making the whole situation even worse.
In retaliation, Vicki steals Bernie’s laptop and realises Bernie has been stealing cash from the Panesar business accounts.

Vicki takes the chance to make money and blackmails Bernie for half of her stolen profits in return for her silence.
Bernie later reveals all about a predicament, but what will she say?
Feeling triumphant Vicki manages to convince Zack to speak to Sharon about staying at No.43 after roping Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) into her pleas.
But Kathy is later horrified when Vicki reveals the true reason behind her sudden change in cash flow.

Elsewhere, the Panesar’s are hellbent on teaching Vicki a lesson for stealing their cash with Suki taking charge of the situation.
Later in the week, there’s a showdown between Vicki and Bernie with the latter heading to No.41 to question the Panesars on their lack of action leading Ravi to lure Vicki into a trap at Walford East.
Will Bernie be successful in Vicki’s downfall?
