Louisa Lytton, who plays Louisa on Eastenders, revealed her pregnancy in a sweet video she made for her mother.
On Mother’s Day, Louisa, who plays Walford’s Ruby Allen, announced to the world that she and her fiancee Ben Bhanvra are expecting a daughter, leaving her fans and EastEnders co-stars overjoyed.
Louisa was seen in the video opening an envelope with the word’mum’ written on the front.
“Just a little note to say… there’s a baby on the way,” the card read.
The EastEnders actress then shared a picture of herself with Ben and her baby bump, as well as a bouquet of Mother’s Day flowers and cards for the expectant mother.
“Dear Mum, if I’m a fraction of the mother you are, I know I’ll be the best,” the actress wrote alongside the video.
“For 32 years, you’ve held my hand, taught me right from wrong, corrected my pronunciation, and helped me see the light at the end of every tunnel.
“And now you’ll teach me how to become a mother (just don’t step in or Ben could leave!)
Louisa’s co-stars were overjoyed by the news, and many expressed their delight on social media.
“Oh lovely girl…,” Emma Barton, who plays Honey Mitchell, said. I’m in tears! This is just stunning. “I congratulate you both.”
“Congratulations!” said Clair Norris, who plays Bernie Taylor on the soap. This is so cute!”
“LOVE YOU SO MUCH,” Tiffany Butcher Baker actress Maisie Smith wrote, while Lorraine Stanley, who plays Karen Taylor, said, “Yay!” “Warm greetings!”
“Ohhh, look at you!” exclaimed Lacey Turner, who is currently on maternity leave after welcoming her second brother, Trilby, into the world last month.
“I’m so happy to have baby cuddles,” Danielle Harold, who plays Lola Pearce, said. You’re going to be the best mummy and daddy, and I love you both so much.”
