On Sunday, Jordy Lucas, the former star of Neighbours and now a podcaster, married her long-term partner Henry Platt.
The actress married Henry at Cape Kitchen on Victoria’s Phillip Island, where she played Summer Hoyland in the legendary drama.
Jordy looked stunning in a one-shoulder, figure-hugging gown by wedding gown designer Kyha on the big day.
Her gown had a flowing train, and she was carrying a beautiful arrangement of white and green flowers.
Jordy, the It’s All Her podcast host, wore natural-looking makeup and swept her long dark curls to one side.
A long and modest veil complimented her classic bridal appearance.
After three attempts owing to the Covid-19 pandemic and ensuing lockdowns, she and Henry, who had been together for five years, finally tied the wedding at the weekend.
Four bridesmaids flanked Jordy on the big day, and their two-year-old daughter Evie served as a flower girl.
The couple married on a beach in a small ceremony.
‘Mrs Platt,’ Jordy captioned a snapshot of herself on her wedding day on Instagram.
Jordy is most known for his role as Summer Hoyland on Neighbours, which he played from 2010 until 2013.
Actress Marisa Siketa had already portrayed the part.
Before returning to Australia, Jordy departed Neighbours and tried his luck in Hollywood.
‘It obviously didn’t work out but not many people can honestly say they’ve done everything in their power to achieve a goal,’ she recently wrote on Instagram.
She added: ‘Knowing what I know now, would I do it again? I’m not sure… but I am proud of that 20 year old who moved overseas by herself to give it a crack.’
