Still, Adam J. Harrington posted something interesting on X/Twitter, after the show aired. He tweeted a photo of a sunset with the words, “Good night all …” Was Adam swerving fans or is John dead?
Speaking of exits, fans were equally as shocked to learn this week that Kelly Monaco, who plays Sam McCall, will be leaving the show soon. Reports reveal the soap is planning on killing off her character, and this will occur sometime in the fall.

Some good news for GH fans, as spoilers reveal that Holly Sutton will return to the canvas this week on Wednesday, September 4, as Emma Samms reprises the role. It’s unclear what will bring Holly back to the land of Port Charles, so fans will have to tune in to find out!
In addition, Adam Huss (Nikolas Cassadine) wrapped up his quick run on the soap, with a “one and done” appearance during the week of August 26-30. He had an emotional scene with Laura Collins (Genie Francis) as he learned he was not eligible to donate his liver to Lulu Spencer (last played by Emme Rylan).
