According to the latest General Hospital comings and goings updates, Valentin Cassadine and his daughter, Charlotte Cassadine, are being sought out and will be brought back to Port Charles from their hiding place.
Additionally, a beloved character is set to make a return soon, while a legacy character may be departing for good. Stay tuned for the latest casting news related to the ABC soap opera.
General Hospital Comings & Goings: The Hunt for Valentin Cassadine Is in Full Swing
In the current storyline of General Hospital, Anna Devane is on a quest to find Valentin Cassadine. Her motivation stems from the need for his daughter, Charlotte Cassadine, to be reunited with her mother, Lulu Spencer, who recently underwent a risky transplant surgery.
With Lulu potentially waking up soon, it’s important for Charlotte to be by her side. Additionally, Anna is eager to locate Valentin because she inadvertently caused him to go into hiding by revealing his role as the leader of Pikeman and reporting him to the FBI.
Anna is determined to set things right on General Hospital, but she’s not receiving any assistance from the WSB. Instead, she has reached out to Jason Morgan and his tech-savvy partner, Damian Spinelli, also known as The Jackal.
Spinelli is using his hacking expertise to track down the whereabouts of Valentin and Charlotte. It’s expected that Anna and Jason will be the ones to locate them, informing them about Lulu’s situation and persuading them to return home.
GH Casting Updates: Lulu Spencer Returns Soon
If Valentin Cassadine (James Patrick Stuart) returns to Port Charles with Charlotte Cassadine (Scarlett Fernandez), it could coincide with Lulu Spencer’s (Alexa Havins) awakening from her coma at General Hospital. Her family would be ecstatic to welcome her back after four long years.
However, this miracle comes with sorrow, as her liver donor, Sam McCall (Kelly Monaco), is expected to pass away shortly after the surgery. Additionally, Steven Webber (Scott Reeves) will be departing town almost as quickly as he arrived, heading back to his new life in Sedona, Arizona.
He will take his mother, Heather Webber (Alley Mills), with him, although Heather has no intention of staying away from Port Charles permanently. She has promised her grandson, Ace Cassadine (Clay twins), that she will return. Meanwhile, Laura Spencer Collins (Genie Francis) is back home and will likely be staying for an extended period.
General Hospital Casting News: Is It a Wrap for Monica Quartermaine?
In more casting updates for General Hospital, it appears that Monica Quartermaine (Leslie Charleson) may have already filmed her final scenes and could be leaving the soap permanently. A source close to Leslie has indicated that due to health issues, she is unlikely to return, though she would always be welcome back if circumstances change. The last time viewers saw Monica was during the 2023 holiday season. As a long-standing veteran of the soap with deep roots in Port Charles, her departure would be deeply felt by fans.
Additionally, Michael Corinthos (Chad Duell) was recently temporarily recast due to scheduling conflicts, with Young and the Restless alum Robert Adamson stepping in for one episode. Adamson has filled in as Michael before and received a positive response from fans. However, Chad is back as Michael moving forward, just as his life has taken a dramatic turn; his uncle, Drew Cain Quartermaine (Cameron Mathison), has confessed to kissing his wife, Willow Tait (Katelyn MacMullen), which could lead to the end of his marriage. Michael is likely to seek revenge on Drew in light of this betrayal.
In exciting new developments, newcomer Kai (Jens Austin Astrup) will be joining the cast as a student at Port Charles University, where he will soon meet Trina Robinson (Tabyana Ali). Meanwhile, Violet Finn (Jophielle Love) has exited the soap to live with her father, Hamilton Finn (Michael Easton), in Seattle. With all this drama unfolding, make sure to tune in daily to see if Valentin Cassadine returns with Charlotte to Lulu in the ABC daytime drama.
