General Hospital: Carly Corinthos Spencer’s Long History with Kingpin Sonny Corinthos
GH history recalls Carly Corinthos Spencer has been on and off with Sonny Corinthos for decades. Over the years, they’ve had three children and built a beautiful family. They’ve been married five times which is proof that they can’t get over each other.
They fight hard but love harder and there is nothing they won’t do for each other. Of course, they’ve been through some extremely dark times. Even recently, Sonny’s bipolar breakdown made him think Carly was a traitor on General Hospital.
But now, it’s clear they’re stronger than ever because Carly is still willing to step up and do anything for him. Now, this latest situation they found themselves in may pave the way for another reconciliation for “CarSon.”
Sonny & Carly Thrown Back Together on GH
Currently, on General Hospital, Carly Corinthos Spencer (Laura Wright) is being pulled deeper into Sonny Corinthos’ (Maurice Benard) orbit. Recently, he murdered FBI Agent John “Jagger” Cates (Adam Harrington).
So, he needs an alibi and of course, he turned to Carly. Indeed, she didn’t think twice about helping him. However, things quickly snowballed when Sonny led the Quartermaine family to believe they had slept together.
Now, things are getting more complicated as more people are starting to find out on General Hospital. Furthermore, Sonny’s attorney, Diane Miller (Carolyn Hennesy), says that a one-night stand won’t cut it if he wants to stay out of prison.
For it to hold up in court, Diane says they must be having a full-on affair. So, now, they need to pretend that they are back together. Indeed, that will be messy and the longer it goes on the more the lines may blur…
General Hospital Prediction: Fake “CarSon” Romance Turns into Reality?
For now, Carly and her ex-husband, Sonny, must pretend they’re together again on GH. Or, at the very least, sleeping together. No doubt, it looks like their cover story might set the stage for a real reunion.
The more they must pretend, the more real it might feel. And before they know it, they might develop genuine feelings for each other again. Of course, they still love each other and are comfortable with each other.
So, it will surely be easy to fall back into old habits on General Hospital. Recently, Carly told Sonny she would not marry him again. However, if she finds herself having to testify against him she could end up doing it anyway.
