General Hospital Recaps: The Shocking Reveal—Holly Is Sasha’s Mother!

A lot can happen in a single day in Port Charles, making it easy to feel lost. If you missed any of the action from the week of October 14, 2024, our General Hospital weekly recaps will quickly bring you up to speed!

Cody wanted to purchase Serenity, the property where he grew up, with plans to transform it into an animal sanctuary, but he lacked the $6 million needed. Sasha suggested he ask Tracy for a loan, framing it as an investment opportunity. However, Cody hesitated, fearing he might revert to his old habits.

After Sasha approached Michael for financial help, Tracy chastised her for overstepping her boundaries in the Quartermaine household. Although Tracy offered to assist Cody, he refused to accept her money. While catching up with Felicia, Holly discovered that Cody is Mac’s son and went to warn her daughter, Sasha, that she shouldn’t date him because he’s her cousin. Sasha initially thought Holly was pulling another con, but Holly insisted that it was true and revealed she is Robert Scorpio’s daughter.

Sasha then visited Cody and kissed him passionately before running off, visibly shaken. Holly confided in Felicia and Maxie about the revelation, and Felicia urged her to tell Robert. However, Sasha had already reached out to Robert, requesting a DNA test to confirm her mother’s claims. Concerned that Holly might interfere with the results, Sasha felt reassured when Robert sent the test to a WSB lab for analysis.

Sam Is a Match for Lulu!

Martin visited Laura at the hospital and explained the changes in his appearance and voice. Meanwhile, Liz learned from the donation service that they had found a match for Lulu and promptly shared the news with Laura. To help ease Dante’s worries about Rocco potentially losing his mother, Sam distracted him at the batting cages.

Terry then called Sam to the hospital, revealing that she was a match for Lulu. However, Sam chose to keep this information from Dante until they confirmed her ability to donate. When Lulu’s ventilator shut down, Isaiah and Liz rushed to save her, with Portia reminding Isaiah that he didn’t work at the hospital.

Sam and Dante later informed Rocco, Danny, and Scout that they had found a donor for Lulu. While Scout expressed her concerns about her mom, Sam reassured her about the operation, promising that everything would be okay. While babysitting Ace, Liz shared details about Sam with Lucky, leading to a heartfelt connection as Ace reminded her of Aiden. Lastly, Lucas thanked Isaiah for saving his cousin, and both men began to suspect foul play regarding the ventilator’s malfunction.

Alexis Was Freed

Dante intervened just in time to stop Sonny from confessing to murder, leading Martin to press for details about the new evidence. Anna then disclosed that they had a gun matching the one Alexis disposed of, but ballistics confirmed it was not the weapon that killed Cates.

Sonny ultimately decided against giving his statement, prompting Martin to file a motion to dismiss Alexis’ case. The judge agreed and dropped the charges due to insufficient evidence, leading to a celebration among those present. However, Molly chose to leave the gathering, unable to be around Kristina.

Brad Blackmailed Portia!

Portia confessed to Curtis that she had altered Heather’s blood test results and that Ava was aware but had remained silent about it. While Curtis tried to comfort his wife, assuring her that no one else would discover the truth, he expressed his own concerns.

Later, Brad approached Portia with news of a discrepancy he found in Heather’s tests, revealing that she had accessed the lab computer on the same day. Instead of reporting her, Brad proposed a deal: he would keep quiet about the incident in exchange for Portia’s support in ending his trial employment and rehiring him full-time.

Drama at the Quartermaines

Ned, Drew, and Michael found themselves in a heated debate regarding the future of Valentin’s ELQ shares. Ned proposed that they divide the shares among the next generation of Quartermaines, suggesting he could vote on their behalf until they were old enough to manage their own interests. However, Drew confided in Michael, expressing that he believed Michael should be the one in charge, not Ned.

Feeling frustrated, Ned arranged a meeting with Elaine, asking her to investigate Drew and Willow in order to gather evidence of their affair. Meanwhile, Brook Lynn intervened to stop Tracy from suing the parents of Violet’s bully, reminding her that the situation had already been resolved. Seeking guidance, Brook Lynn approached her former teacher, Willow, for advice about parenting and questioned whether she was ready to take on that responsibility.

However, Brook Lynn’s heart sank when she learned that Finn had completed his rehab and Violet would be moving to Seattle to live with him, leaving her devastated at the prospect of losing the little girl.

Kristina Made a Scene!

Kristina burst in on Ric’s dinner with Ava, creating a scene and threatening them before Alexis intervened and managed to drag her out. Once outside, Alexis explained to Kristina that she had walked straight into Ric’s trap, while also telling Ava that the incident would bolster her case.

At home, Molly confided in TJ, expressing her hope that her testimony against Ava would compensate for Kristina, who she feared would cause a scene on the stand. When Sam announced to her mother and sisters that she would be Lulu’s donor, the conversation quickly devolved into another argument between Molly and Kristina. Alexis then chastised them for their fighting, lamenting that they were destroying the family.
