As family and friends gather at The Savoy, Curtis raises a glass to his father, who is about to leave Port Charles to tour with Wynton Marsalis. “It’s time to show the world your talent,” he proclaims.
Nina is taken aback by Ava’s revelation. “You’re interested in Ric?!” she gasps, her eyes wide with shock. Has Ava developed feelings for her attorney? Meanwhile, Rick approaches Liz at the hospital’s nurses station, and the look on his face immediately raises her concern. “What have you done now?” she sighs.
After discovering that Isaiah has previously performed the risky transplant and blood clot surgery, Lucky enlists his help in trying to save Lulu. Upon hearing the news, Jordan comments, “I hope you have one more miracle left in you.” After losing a patient, the doctor returned to general medicine—could this be his chance at redemption?
Meanwhile, Sam is less than thrilled about the sudden change in plans. “I thought you were doing my surgery?” she expresses her concern. Is she really going to back out? With Sam undergoing surgery to potentially save his ex-wife Lulu, Dante finds himself feeling overwhelmed. “Who saw any of this coming?” he vents to his father.
Holly continues her candid revelations with a visit to Anna’s office, where the police commissioner is both disappointed and unsurprised by Holly’s years of deception regarding Sasha’s true parentage. “This is low,” Anna asserts. “Even for you.”
