Portia is feeling anxious about Heather’s upcoming release from prison and appreciates Liz’s offer of assistance. “If Plan A fails,” Portia admits, “I may take you up on that offer.” What exactly did Elizabeth propose?
Meanwhile, in Pentonville, Ric visits Heather to share the judge’s decision. “Are you messing with me?” she asks, incredulous at the news. What will Heather do now that she’s a free woman?
Carly is full of questions for Brennan, who simply grins as he replies, “If you have to ask, you’re not as smart as I thought you were.” Is Jack hinting at delivering the gun that led to Alexis and Sonny’s freedom without outright admitting it?
As for Sonny, he’s discussing Holly’s proposal with Jason, who questions whether fencing the diamonds is a quick cash grab. “Can you get it done fast?” Jason asks his friend. However, with Sidwell pursuing Holly, those diamonds might turn out to be more trouble than they’re worth!
Meanwhile, Laura expresses her gratitude to Isaiah for agreeing to help with Lulu’s transplant procedure. “If you give her the chance,” Laura insists, “she will win again.”
Over in the hospital, Sam is attempting to calm her nerves before undergoing surgery to donate part of her liver to save Lulu. She isn’t pleased to see a particular visitor in her hospital room. “You want something,” she states. “You always do.” Who is this visitor, and what do they want from Sam at such a critical time?
