Spoilers for General Hospital reveal Amanda Setton’s character Brook Lynn Quartermaine finds it difficult to be honest with Josh Swickard’s character Harrison Chase.
In a short period of time, these two have been through thick and thin together, and they’ve only recently started a marriage, which has, to put it mildly, been a tough road thus far.
But Brook Lynn’s terrible behavior and falsehoods once almost cost her Chase. She doesn’t want to bring up old memories of herself because that would make her spouse view her differently than he does now. What is it she’s been wanting to tell Chase but can’t seem to bring herself to say it?
General Hospital Spoilers — Didn’t She Want Dante?
Brook Lynn did a good job of making it sound like it was mostly Carly Spencer’s (Laura Wright) fault for taking advantage of her youth and inherent nature to bust up anything she doesn’t agree with.
Carly’s apology may come at a vulnerable time when much of Brook Lynn’s past is weighing on her mind, causing her to feel residual guilt over the choices she has made.
Carly may not be lugging around that guilt anymore, but she was quick to unburden herself to Brook Lynn. Of course, that may not leave Brook Lynn feeling any better if part of her motivation back then wasn’t the money, but that she did actually want Dante for herself all those years ago when she tried to break him and Lulu Falconeri (Emme Rylan) up.
She can’t very well come clean about that now, can she?
GH Spoilers Hint Chase is Already Uncomfortable
Brook Lynn could see the truth written all over her hubby’s face. He was having a hard time picturing her going after Dante in any romantic capacity.
That’s his partner. He has to work with this guy every day. Moreover, they’re friends, and yet neither Dante nor Brook Lynn ever cared to loop him into the details of their sordid past. Is that only coming to light now because Brook Lynn is worried that Lulu will wake up and spill the beans?
General Hospital Spoilers — It’s Not the Past That Matters
Then again, Brook Lynn’s strange mood might not have anything to do with the past and much more to do with the future. Violet Finn’s (Jophielle Love) question caught both Brook Lynn and Chase completely off guard.
Of course they want a baby, but Chase’s hesitation to say so gave Brook Lynn pause. Still, she gleefully admitted she wants a child of her own.
Good thing, because rumor has it a bun is already in her oven. Is that what she’s been struggling to tell Chase? How will he react given all they’ve already endured so far in their short time being married? We can’t wait to find out!
Stay tuned for the climactic moment that Chase learns he’s going to be a dad!
