Home and Away star Luke Jacobz and partner Raychel have welcomed a second child together, revealing the lovely family news with some sweet photos on Instagram.
Jacobz, who is best known for playing Angelo Rosetta on the show, shared the baby’s name was John James Scott.
The star, 37, added their newborn was conceived naturally following years of IVF treatments.
“On Monday, our little family of three grew a little bigger and we are all so in love already. Welcome my baby boy John James Scott,” Luke wrote.
“We named him after my Dad, Raychel’s Dad and uncle. Named after the men who helped shape both our lives so their legacy can live on.”
Jacobz went on to pay tribute to his wife.
“Raychel, your bravery, love, true grit and determination to give our Maisie a best friend for life is nothing short of incredible,” Jacobz wrote about his wife.
“I saw such strength in you that I never thought possible, I love you with my heart and my soul and promise to teach our boy to be kind, caring, protective and loving. He will carry the legacy of the great men he is named after.”
He went on to address the newborn directly.
“Little Johnny, JJ… I am so proud to be your Dad, you and I will have the most wonderful adventure together, we are going to love and support your mum and sister, because I know they love you so much already.
“I love you Raychel, thank you for giving me the honour to be your babies’ Dad.”
The actor’s friends were only too happy to offer their congratulations.
“Congratulations! So happy for you all,” Melissa Doyle wrote.
“Hugest congratulations to you all,” Joh Griggs added.
“Huge congratulations mate! Beautiful news! Enjoy the love bubble.”
Jacobz has been a huge name in Australian showbiz, first rising to fame on Heartbreak High in the late 1990s.
He went on to win Dancing With The Stars in 2008.
