Fans have been speculating for months Kirby and Mali will get together, but it may not be what it seems.
Home and Away fans have been left confused after a photo from set leaked online showing a potential brand new couple in the Bay. Warning, if you HATE spoilers, we don’t recommend reading past this intro. You’ve been warned!
OK, if you’re still here, let’s get straight into it.
For months, Home and Away fans have been speculating that Mali and Kirby may end up together, after their respective relationships with Theo and Rose don’t work out. The one glorious thing about Summer Bay apparently is that if you break up with your partner, a new one is usually just around the corner, despite the small town population. Good for them! No need for dating apps here.
Anyway, ICYMI it, during all the drama that was Felicity Newman’s death, a new character, Abigail Fowler was introduced, the wild child younger sister of Levi and Eden. Already Abigail is causing havoc and seems to be hiding something, because we all know no one new can pop up to the Bay without a secret of some sort.
Which leads us to this potential new romance…
Will Mali and Abigail get together on Home and Away?
In a Home and Away Facebook fan page, someone’s shared a photo of Mali and Abigail looking very cosy at the beach, the best place in Summer Bay to make out apparently.
While fans thought things would spark between Mali and Kirby, others were happy to see that he and Rose appear to be over (for both their sakes).
“I think they are well suited. Mali was to hung up on Rose’s job and treated her poorly, hopefully having that pressure off him he might be able to trust his partner,” one person said.
“Rose deserves better than Mali so I’m glad they have drawn a line there. She actually had more chemistry with Cash before they sent him in Eden’s direction after Jasmine,” another fan stated.
Other fans weren’t too sure about the Abigail and Mali setup.
“Oh that spells trouble,” one person commented, with another saying, “No, they’re definitely not suited,” and someone else agreeing, “I think Mali is more suited to Kirby though, than Abigail or Rose.”

Some fans were still confused by the Mali and Kirby “will they, won’t they?” vibe after many speculated the two would eventually get together.
“Doesn’t he end up getting together with Kirby? I’m sure I read that a while back,” one person commented. “Noooo I wanted Mali & Kirby,” another said, while someone agreed, “I wanted them to explore that avenue definitely.”
“I was hoping he and Kirby would get together,” another sad fan commented.
Well it is Home and Away, so who knows… Mirby could still be a thing one day. Mirby? Maybe we’ll come up with a better couple name later.
