Stevie watches Remi pull in on his motorbike as she sips on her coffee. Cash is quickly on her case for spending time in the front, where anyone could see her. As he ushers her inside, she begrudgingly complies, but a notification on her phone changes everything – she’s got an audition for a rom-com she’s been chasing for ages and she has to go.
Cash gives a firm no. He can’t guarantee her safety, so they can’t risk it. He’s surprised when Stevie backs down and agrees, but she’s quick to reveal her true intentions to Felicity.
Stevie’s agenda becomes clear later on when she reveals she has organised to submit a self-tape for the audition. All she needs now is a scene partner. When Cash refuses, Stevie wastes no time roping in Remi, who’s using the pool for his physio. They retreat to his place to film, and the chemistry is definitely there.
A few beers in, they’re rehearsing a kiss, but the moment is definitely real as they fall into each other’s arms. They’re lying in bed together when Cash realises she has left the house and immediately panics.
Meanwhile, Eden and Imogen settle in for coffee at Salt, with Mackenzie keenly listening in, desperate to learn more about her romantic rival. Imogen apologises for burdening Eden with her marital issues, but again stresses that she’s sure something has changed between her and Levi.
Mackenzie is wracked with guilt as she digests the obvious pain she’s causing, but soon Eden has outed her as a former patient of Levi’s, and they’ve invited her to join the table. Against her better judgement, Mackenzie pulls up a chair. Levi is aghast to walk in on his wife, his sister and his mistress having coffee together.
Later, in private, Levi scolds Mac and questions whether she’s trying to mess up his life. It’s heated and Mackenzie ends up telling Levi to get out of her house and go home to his wife.
