Coming up next week on Home and Away in the UK, Marilyn is unimpressed with Tex’s work ethic as she continues to rule with an iron fist, while Theo faces losing his apprenticeship thanks to Justin’s meddling.
This week, Justin’s (James Stewart) determination to assist Theo (Matt Evans) with his TAFE assignment backfires on him when Theo accuses Justin of plagiarising!
Last week, while Theo persevered through some written coursework—which he always finds difficult—having mentor Justin on his case wasn’t helping. Theo eventually agreed to let Justin use his laptop so he could write a basic outline, but Justin ultimately took control and finished the entire homework.
While Theo had to put on a strong face to hide his disappointment, Justin was happy with his efforts. He would have to start from scratch because there was no way his conscience would permit him to submit someone else’s work!
Theo’s supportive girlfriend Chloe (Sam Barrett) helped him see the project from a different angle and made him realise he knew more than he imagined. Theo got going quickly and was able to turn in an assignment that was of his own creation.
Not wanting to hurt Justin’s feelings, Theo chose not to tell him about the rewrite.
This week, a blissfully unaware Leah (Ada Nicodemou) is perplexed by Justin’s excitement, as he waits to hear about Theo’s grade.
When Theo phones to announce that he received an honourable 82 percent, Justin drops himself in it and exclaims, “Yes! I had that down!”
He is quickly corrected on what he just said by Leah, and he is ultimately compelled to admit that he wrote Theo’s assignment for him.
Leah chastises Justin for allowing Theo to submit someone else’s work and expresses disbelief that he would be dishonest enough to do so.
Leah insists that Theo needs to be taught right from wrong, and Justin knows that the only way to accomplish that is to call TAFE and explain what occurred, even if Justin admits that he did get a little carried away.
Justin knows that Theo would get in a lot of trouble if they found out, but Leah in her wisdom decides that it’s the right thing in the long run, and she instructs Justin to call without consulting Theo first.
Theo in the meantime is stoked to have genuinely aced his assignment, and Chloe couldn’t be prouder as he tells her the good news.
But when Theo receives a call from his tutor, Mr. Fernandez, the joy quickly disappears from his face. His task is now being looked upon!
When Theo learns about Justin’s phone call, he feels betrayed and confronts him, asking how he could take over Theo’s assignment against his will before outing him. Theo admits that he had actually entirely revised it before Leah points out that he shouldn’t have turned it in.
Justin and Leah are mortified, what have they done?!

Unless Theo can prove otherwise, it’s going to be a fail with potential disciplinary action.
Theo ultimately locates a duplicate of Justin’s original essay, which he had deleted, in the cloud and sends it to Mr. Fernandez in the hopes that it will support his account.
Theo is informed the following day that it doesn’t prove anything, but Mr. Fernandez is still ready to offer him one final opportunity to do so by taking an exam!
Theo is put under strain right away because a time limit is the only thing worse than a written project. Theo is hesitant despite Justin’s assurances that he would do well.
Marilyn is getting upset with the new handyman Tex elsewhere in Summer Bay (Lucas Linehan).
In place of Alf (Ray Meagher) and Roo (Georgie Parker), Tex has been hired to assist in the bait shop and campground. So far, Tex has impressed Marilyn with his work, although his punctuality might use some improvement.
Tex is supposed to be working at the caravan park, but he ends up rescuing a surfer who fell off his board and hit a rock. Marilyn tries to find him all afternoon at the diner, much to the annoyance of Irene (Lynne McGranger).
As Tex runs into Rose (Kirsty Marillier) once more, he is able to persuade her to join him for a drink. Marilyn is unimpressed because those don’t look like work clothes when Tex stops by the diner on his way to meet Rose at Salt.
Tex assures the campground that he would return later to do any tasks that remain, but Marilyn subsequently complains to Irene that she is being duped and that she clearly underestimated Tex.

Irene informs Tex that they are not impressed with his work ethic when Marilyn leaves the room because he showed up nowhere that afternoon.
At this moment, John overhears the talk and admits that he might be to blame—Tex had assisted in a rescue earlier on the beach; he’s a hero!
Irene wonders why Tex didn’t say anything, but he modestly says that it’s not his style.
Irene warns him that he’ll have to reconsider that stance if he has any hope of getting around Marilyn…. that’s if he’s not already too late!
Is Tex’s job over before it even started?
