Coming up next week on Home and Away in the UK, a surprise visitor threatens Bella and Nikau’s relationship, while Leah’s meddling could spell the end for Theo and Chloe.
For Nikau (Kawakawa Fox-Reo) and Bella (Courtney Miller), things have finally calmed down after a tense few months, but a surprise guest is about to put another wrench in the works.
Bella leaves to capture some photos for a project as Nik begins his first shift as Summer Bay’s newest paid lifeguard, his ideal position. A recognisable face appears in the viewfinder as she is lying on the floor and has her gaze fixed on it. Emmett, played by J.R.
Last year, shortly after Nik’s terrible modelling career ended after Bella broke up with him after he admitted to having an affair with agency Sienna, Bella’s old mentor was last spotted leaving for New York (Rose Riley).
Before he revealed he had been granted a fantastic opportunity in the Big Apple, Bella and Emmett had organised a joint show in the city, but he had pledged to always be there for her if she needed anything.
So what brings him back to the bay?
Bella quickly learns the truth when Emmett offers her the chance of a lifetime: he needs an assistant for a three-month assignment back in New York.
Emmett flies to Salt to reunite himself with Mackenzie (Emily Weir), who is happy to see him considering that she has been having a good old time lately, as he leaves Bella to consider his options.
Nik however isn’t too happy to see Emmett in the surf club, as the bad memories of last year come flooding back, before Bella reminds him that Emmett was the good guy.
Bella tells Emmett she can’t accept when Nik, who hears about the job offer, finds it hard to believe she’s even thinking about it. Emmett points her that it’s only for three months and that Bella should take into account both her personal needs and Nik’s.

Bella’s decision is made clear when she informs Nik that she would be travelling to the city for a few days in order to organise her passport.
Bella acknowledges that she probably won’t want to go back and that the distance might be too much for their relationship as Nik points out. which is why she wants to bring him along!
The following day, Nikau is conflicted as he discusses things with John; John advises him to pursue whatever makes him happy, but as Nik does his lifeguard shift, it’s obvious he’s already enjoying his best life.
Will Nik follow Bella to New York?
Elsewhere in Summer Bay, Theo (Matt Evans) and Chloe (Sam Barrett) decide to take the next step in their burgeoning relationship, but will Leah’s (Ada Nicodemou) meddling put a stop to things before they’ve even begun?
Over the previous few weeks, the two have been flirting with romance, or at least they were until Theo felt he had been put in the friend zone and followed some really terrible advise from John Palmer (Shane Withington).
It goes without saying that trying to make Chloe envious by bringing a female buddy from TAFE along for drinks at Salt didn’t go over so well. Thank goodness for Theo, his apology and the more conventional approach of a bouquet of flowers worked, and their second effort at an evening at Salt ended in a kiss.
Theo has been spending more time with Chloe this week, and Leah has noticed it. She taunts him about their regular texting, and she gets Justin (James Stewart) to ask Theo questions as they surf in the morning.
When Theo finds Chloe at the beach, he decides to join her for a drink instead of going surfing, but not before the two share a short kiss in front of shocked Justin and Nik.
Meanwhile, Leah is quizzing Marilyn (Emily Symons) on Chloe, and wondering whether she’s in the right headspace for a new relationship…
Leah goes into overdrive after learning about the kiss from Justin and decides to ask Chloe to a special family dinner to learn more about her motivations. She tells Theo that she is just interested in Chloe’s input on some new dishes.
When they observe the work Leah put into the table, Theo and Chloe are both surprised. The meal is delicious, but afterwards, things take an odd turn when Leah starts asking Chloe if she loves to stick to her “recipes.”
Leah asks Chloe if she’ll swiftly move on to different recipes if one isn’t to her taste. Chloe is unsure of what to respond, and when Leah surmises that Chloe likes to “play around,” it becomes evident that they’re no longer talking about cooking.
Theo is mortified when Leah then quickly drops the pretence, and bluntly asks Chloe whether she’s serious about Theo or not.
They have just gone on one date, according to Theo, and they are not yet prepared for that kind of conversation. Chloe makes the decision to forgo dessert and leave as she comes out of the restroom.
Theo is frustrated that Chloe hasn’t been responding to his texts the following morning and hastily places the blame on Leah.
Theo accuses Leah of trying to dictate who he sees as she tries to explain that she wasn’t sure if starting a relationship with Chloe was the smartest move for him right now in light of the recent horrible events he’s been through.
Leah tries to apologise and asks what she can do to make it up to him, but he can only tell her to stay out of his life.
Leah apologises to Chloe for coming on so strongly and tries to locate her in the diner. She can tell how much Theo adores Chloe and is merely concerned that Theo would fall hard if Chloe doesn’t feel the same way.
Theo believes he is ready to get dumped when he finally runs into Chloe on the beach, but instead they decide to make things official!
But Theo’s embarrassment isn’t over yet, when Justin and Leah arrive home early to find him emerging from his room half-naked.
Leah is giddy with happiness when Theo admits that he has his “girlfriend” Chloe over, feeling that it was all her doing, and Justin has to drag her away… will the new couple catch a break?
