While most of the country has plunged back into various stages of restricted life, there is “a silver lining” that comes in the form of a revival of Sam Frost’s isolation diary.
The 32-year-old, who plays Jasmine Delaney on Seven soap Home and Away, started “Sam’s Iso Diary” on Instagram while in lockdown for the first time last year.
It quickly became a highlight reel filled with relatable moments in our time of need.
Some of the best included the weird sound her washing machine makes, accidentally locking her dog Greg in a cupboard and her online shopping haul.
Now it’s back and the actor is still in fine form.
“Good news: Welcome back #SamsIsoDiary… there’s always a silver lining guys,” she posted.
Frost, who lives in Sydney, started with the household chores and tasks she’d been putting off, including finally assembling the blower vac she bought several months ago.
“I bought this leaf blower/vac four months ago when I was feeling inspired to be a grown up and clean my courtyard,” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.
Frost showed a timelapse of her attempting to build the blower vac before putting all the pieces back in the box.
“Then I got home and realised there’s lots of parts I had to put together, and decided that adult life wasn’t for me,” she wrote.
“And it also needs petrol. Now I know for sure I don’t want to be an adult.
“So I will play Mario instead.”
Frost has been spending much of her downtime playing the much-loved Nintendo game, Mario Cart, against her dog Greg of course.
The blower vac was relegated to her spare room, a graveyard for household junk and projects at various stages of completion.
“Now you must go into the room where random objects go to die,” she wrote as she showed fans a glimpse of the room.
