Home and Away’s Matt Evans is enjoying a steamy summer romance.
The 29-year-old Summer Bay hunk was spotted turning up the heat with new cast member Sophea Pennington between takes on Wednesday.
The bronzed actor and the blonde bombshell couldn’t keep their hands off each other as they enjoyed some fun in the sun on Sydney’s Palm Beach.Â
The chemistry between the genetically blessed couple was electric as they canoodled on the sand, and enjoyed some well-earned downtime.
Matt let his feelings be known as he leant in and closed his eyes and passionately kissed the long-running drama’s newest star.
Their lingering smooch was enough to set onlookers’ tongues wagging – and their amorous display didn’t stop there.
After some small talk, Sophea was seen leaning in for another cheeky peck, as she tenderly caressed his defined back.
Not to be outdone, Matt returned the favour by blowing a raspberry on his ladylove’s toned tummy, much to the delight of Sophea who was seen giggling with glee.
After their sizzling display, the new loves opted to cool off by taking a refreshing dip.
Once in the water, Sophea wrapped her arms around Matt and gazed into his eyes, before they shared another smooch.
Sophea looked sensational on the day in coral bikini that featured high cut bottoms and ring detailing at the bust line.
She wore her voluminous locks tied up in a practical bun and shielded her eyes behind designer shades.
Elsewhere, Matt was every inch the Aussie soap stud in a pair of dark patterned boardshorts.
After their steamy paddle, the workmates-turned-real life loves returned to their beach towels to dry off before heading back to work.
The pair who played on-screen couple Dean and Ziggy left the high rating soap in March 2023.
O’Connor confirmed to The Daily Telegraph that he and Dillman would be appearing as part of the River Boys storyline.
He revealed that new scenes have already been filmed in far North Queensland.
‘There’s a bit of River Boy action, there’s a bit of road trips with them,’ O’Connor told the publication.
‘I think it’ll be good to see where Dean is now, where they’re at now with their babies living away in Queensland, is all I’ll say.’
Also tipped to join the cast as a new character in 2025 is Amanda Bishop, best known for her Julia Gillard send-up in the ABC 2011 sit-com At Home with Julia.
