Despite the warning signs in previous episodes of Home and Away, Mac (Emily Weir) is intrigued by PK (Ryan Johnson) and the money he brings to the table.
Mac offers to hold a high-stakes tournament at Salt at his request. The wealthy customer will enthuse the game and increase revenue with a $5000 buy-in.
Only one snag: Felicity (Jacqui Purvis) will be unable to attend.
Her name doesn’t sit well with his clientele because she is the sister of local cop Cash (Nicholas Cartwright).

When Mac replies that she is the only one who knows how to host a poker night – or even the rules of the game — PK suggests that he take his business somewhere.
Mac nods and walks away.
Mac perseveres in his chat with Flick, who urges him to see behind PK’s charm. Something isn’t right. Mac, on the other hand, refuses to listen once more.
Would Felicity dare go to the police?

Mac and PK are getting ready to host visitors that night. Mac is going solo because Felicity is unable to operate the tables. The bar owner strains to keep up when Ziggy (Sophie Dillman) and Tane (Ethan Browne) arrive to offer their support.
Felicity returns home, ignoring Mac, and prepares to leave for Salt. She is interrupted by a knock at the door, which is answered by poker player Nathan (Ryan Panizza) and a massive burly man.
Before locking the door behind him, Nathan offers she stay at home for the night…
Back at Salt, PK has been on a roll. He then informs Mac that the House has lost and that she is owed $100,000 by the players! PK offers to cover the expense if she repays him in some other way, and hands her a card with a hotel address.
Mac’s head is spinning.
“She desperately wants to be debt-free, and she believes that if she gives PK what he wants, all of her worry and difficulties would go.
Then she feels disgusted by PK’s talents, dread that he would harm her, and humiliation for her love and devotion to boyfriend Logan.”
Felicity is sent free the next morning. She’s on a mission to learn what happened at the poker night. She’s shocked to learn of PK’s dishonesty before clarifying that the House can never lose at poker.
Mac’s brother Dean (Patrick O’Connor) reels. He knows how desperate Mac is to repay her debt.
But that’s not all: Mac is missing and no one has heard from her.
