He and partner Janette Manrara smashed a previously existing Debbie McGee Strictly Record.
With his outstanding success in the live show on Saturday night, HRVY made Strictly Come Dancing history.
In this week’s episode, which was set to Coldplay’s A Sky Full Of Stars, he and his wife Janette Manrara performed their Couple’s Choice routine and landed a perfect score from the judges.
Although HRVY and Janette were standing ovations from Shirley Ballas and Motsi Mabuse, Craig Revel Horwood told the pop singer that he was the “GOAT,” with the pair granting 10 points to each of the judges.
This made them the first couple just six weeks into the competition to bag a perfect score, breaking a record previously set by Debbie McGee and Giovanni Pernice, who won 40 out of 40 for their 10th-week success in 2017.
Sadly, not everyone on the Strictly dance floor had such a good week.
Elsewhere, it was another good night for former EastEnders star Maisie Smith, who won her Quickstep an almost perfect score of 29, while JJ Chalmers was third on the leaderboard for his Viennese Waltz (which he performed in a kilt, no less).
Find out how the seven remaining pairs did in the results show of Sunday night’s vote, airing on BBC One at 7.25pm.
