Isaac Baptiste actor Stevie Basaula has teamed up with former EastEnders co-star Zack Morris to launch Process Drama Club, while fans hope for his character’s return to Walford
Isaac Baptiste departed Walford four years ago and has not returned despite the tragic death of his half-brother, Anthony Trueman.
As viewers of BBC soap EastEnders will recall, Patrick Trueman (Rudolph Walker) is embroiled in another family drama as he bonds with his estranged grandson, Josh Goodwin (Joshua Vaughan).
Elderly Patrick was left heartbroken following his son’s death on Christmas Day, Anthony (Nicholas Bailey), who was murdered by Jasmine Fisher (Indeyarna Donaldson-Holness), who happens to be Josh’s twin sister.
Sadly, Patrick has now lost two children to violent deaths, making Isaac Baptiste (Stevie Basaula) his sole remaining son, reports OK!.
Who was Isaac Baptiste?

Isaac first arrived in Albert Square in January 2020 as the son of Sheree Trueman (Suzette Llewellyn), Patrick’s ex-wife.
Sheree expressed concern about her son’s “troubled past” and sought to protect him from romantic entanglements or drama in the Square.
However, Lola Pearce (Danielle Harold) developed feelings for Isaac, which infuriated Sheree, who tried to discourage him from pursuing a relationship with Lola. “They’re not good for you, Isaac, and it’s unfair for the woman,” Sheree revealed, suggesting that Isaac was concealing a health condition.
He was subsequently sectioned after discontinuing his schizophrenia medication, as the character highlighted a crucial storyline focusing on mental health.
During his two-year stint on the Square, Isaac discovered from his mum, Sheree, that Patrick was his long-lost father, after they met in the 1980s. In March 2022, Isaac departed Walford when his mum, Sheree, suffered a heart attack in Trinidad, leaving Lola devastated.
Will Isaac make a comeback to EastEnders?

Isaac did not return to Walford for his half-brother Anthony’s funeral in February 2026. However, on Tuesday (March 31), Denise Fox (Diane Parish) brought up Isaac during a chat.
In a scene at the salon, newcomer Josh asked about his extended family and questioned Denise about his grandad, Patrick’s, “other son”.
“Who, Isaac?”, Denise responded without much sentiment, as Josh retorted, “Paul?”, appearing oblivious of Isaac’s existence.
Denise replied: “Well, ask anyone around here, and they will tell you he had problems too”.
As of now, the BBC has not announced any plans for Isaac’s return to Walford.
