Lincoln Younes became a fan favourite with Home and Away viewers when he took on the role of Casey Braxton, the youngest of the River Boys, back in 2011 – he now lives in America

The Braxton brothers are some of the most famous characters that Home and Away has produced.

Whether you preferred Darryl (Brax), Heath or Casey, they made such an impact when they first landed in Summer Bay.

The River Boys came with a bad-boy reputation and got into many scrapes during their time on the soap. Sadly, all three are no longer on the soap, but that doesn’t mean we don’t still think of them!

Lincoln Younes played Casey, the youngest of the trio, and people loved him for his desire to move away from his brothers’ bad reputation – but that didn’t always line up with his actions!

Casey was Lincoln’s big break – here, we take a look at the actor’s life, from his family to his relationships.

Lincoln was born in Sydney, but he was raised in Bendigo, Victoria by his mother. He has one younger brother.

“My mum brought me up by herself and she continues to be one of my heroes,” Lincoln previously told TheFIX. “She’s one of the most incredible people I’ve ever met…I would say the strongest figures in my life are actually women.”

His mother worked as a journalist, and Lincoln used to write film reviews for the paper when he was 14.

His surname is Arabic, with the actor explaining on X that he is “half Lebanese, half Aussie.”

Acting wasn’t his first calling: soccer was. He initially wanted to be a professional player, but the acting bug bit him when he starred in his school’s production of Peter Pan.

Lincoln’s first big role was as Romeo in Tangled, and his role as Casey in Home and Away followed shortly after.

He starred in the show rom 2011 until 2014, when he signalled to the writers he wanted to leave the show. Casey’s life came to a sad end after he was shot and killed by Jake Pirovic when he was trying to save his half-brother Josh Barrett, who had been kidnapped.

“It made sense out of the three brothers that Casey was the one it would happen to,” Lincoln said at the time. “It was nice to see him, for a moment in time, turn into Brax and what Brax had taught him and that was to put family first. He died trying to protect him after Brax had spent his life protecting Casey… it was nice to see that switch.”

Since leaving Home and Away, Lincoln has starred as John Ibrahim in the biographical series Last King of the Cross and the comedy series C*A*U*G*H*T.

Lincoln splits his time between Australia and America and is a keen traveller and foodie, often posting his holidays abroad on Instagram along with snaps of the restaurants he visits.

He was in a relationship with Australian actress Amy Ruffle from 2011 until 2016. She was known for starring on the Netflix show Mako Mermaids.

Back in 2023, it was rumoured that he was dating his Last King of The Cross co-star, Courtney Clarke. The pair were spotted enjoying lunch with a friend in Sydney, before walking around the city holding hands.

However, neither of the actors have ever confirmed the relationship, although they both seemed to be in Hong Kong at the same time recently, according to their Instagram.
