Junior Andre, 20, stars as Johnny in Finding My Voice alongside Peter Andre and Michelle Ryan, marking his acting debut just days after revealing his secret job

Junior Andre has officially stepped into the spotlight, making his acting debut in a touching new drama alongside his dad, Peter, and EastEnders star Michelle Ryan. The 20-year-old takes on the role of Johnny in Finding My Voice, a coming-of-age story that explores the struggles of Mel, a young girl whose world is turned upside down by tragedy.

After losing her baby brother and seeing her family fall apart due to alcoholism, Mel finds herself lost and alone, until Johnny, played by Junior, steps in as a loyal friend who’s always there when she needs someone to believe in her.

Fans first caught wind of Junior’s role via the film’s official Instagram page, which shared a carousel of images featuring him on set. The first snap boldly displayed “Johnny” above his head in block lettering, and the caption read: “Junior Andre. Johnny is Mel’s school friend and one of the few people who’s always there when she needs someone to believe in her. Finding My Voice movie is out on 28th March at Manchester Film Festival. See you there!”

Dad Peter was quick to show his pride in the comments, writing: “Yea my son,” followed by three flame emojis, while Junior’s girlfriend Jasmine Orr added: “Can’t wait for this,” with three heart-hand emojis.

Fans echoed their excitement, flooding the post with messages like “Wow” and “Can’t wait to watch!”

Peter plays Costas, though further details about his role are being kept under wraps, and Michelle Ryan stars as Lisa Kendall, Mel’s mother.

The film will premiere at the Manchester Film Festival later this month, promising to be a powerful debut for Junior.

The acting news comes just days after Junior revealed he’s been secretly working nights for the London Underground, tackling heavy labour like “lifting heavy metals, cutting, filing [and] painting.”

He opened up about the reality of supporting himself, saying: “You actually have to pay to do music. People don’t really know that. I live off myself, I don’t live off Mum and Dad – that’s what people think, that we do.”

For the record, Junior’s mum is Katie Price, who recently tied the knot with Lee Andrews in a whirlwind romance earlier this year.

With his first film role already generating buzz, Junior is proving he’s ready to carve out his own path.
