Jacqui Purvis was brutally snubbed from the 64th TV Week Logie Awards – despite being a fan favourite.
The Logies 2024 red carpet has been filled with Home and Away stars, with Ada Nicodemou and James Stewart making their much-anticipated debut as a couple and Emily Weir sparking conversation over her very sheer dress. However, while Yahoo Lifestyle has spotted at least 19 Home and Away cast members at the awards show, Jacqui Purvis appears to have been snubbed.
This is possibly because the star recently decided to leave the show and was killed off onscreen. On the Logies 2024 red carpet, Tristan Gorey (Levi Fowler) told Yahoo Lifestyle the cast was devastated to see Jacqui leave the show.
“It’s sad seeing any beloved cast member leave. I remember helping Jacqui with that audition to get into Home and Away,” he said.
“So being on the show a few years later and seeing her leave, it was really upsetting. But she’s onto some really incredible things, and I wish her all the best.”
Home and Away fans question unfair Logies 2024 decision
Many fans were wondering why she wasn’t included on the Logies guest list, with some thinking it was unfair.
“Where’s Flick!” one person wrote on a Facebook fan group.
“Flick should still be in these photos as she was [there] for the most part as well,” another added.
“There are a few cast members missing,” a third pointed out.
“Where is Cash (Nicholas Cartwright)”, another asked, with a separate fan pointing out Irene Roberts (Lynne McGranger) was excluded as well.

Why wasn’t Jacqui Purvis invited to the Logies 2024?
Some fans guessed that Jacqui Purvis wasn’t asked to the Logies for 2024 as her storyline has been tied up.
“Probably not invited,” one person guessed.
“[Perhaps she’s] already looking for work in the USA,” another theorised, pointing towards Jacqui’s interview with Yahoo Lifestyle where she said she was hoping to break into Hollywood.
“They don’t all go, probably had other important things on,” a third explained.
“Not all of the cast attend the Logies… probably busy or [weren’t] invited,” another said.
It appears that Home and Away producers allow the current working cast to the Logies 2024, as Hailey Pinto, who plays Abigail Fowler, snagged an invitation. She only recently appeared on screen, but because the show films approximately five or six months in advance, she’s been a cast member for a while now.
In contrast, Jacqui finished filming in March, so she is seemingly no longer under contract with Seven.
